I lucked out on this trip. I was the only person that booked this time slot. Which essentially meant I got a private tour. My tour guide Cat arrived early and we got started immediately. She was very personable and quite knowledgeable. She took interest in who I was and what were my key interests. Since, I was the only person she could cater it more to my interest. I felt that if there were others in the ‘group’ she would have done the same and figured a way to accommodate all. We did all the standard stops and one of the optional stops. Had a great lunch at a restaurant in old phuket. I opted for vegetarian. Strongly recommend this tour. The personable aspects were great.

Our guide met us outside the gate of the cruise ship terminal. She spoke English very well and had strong knowledge of the area. She took us to all of the sites and explained in detail each place. She took us to a lovely lunch on the beach and the food was great. This was a wonderful taste of Phuket!!!

We enjoyed our tour so much! Our guide and driver were friendly and we appreciated their interest in us as individuals as they custom made our sightseeing! The visit to the temple was so interesting, and we loved taking pictures of the Big Buddhah statue overlooking the city!

This was a very good tour overall...between the sites you see and the guide was great too, and very dedicated! only complaint is that this tour takes a lot longer than just 5 hours...We were picked up at 10am, and back by 5:15-5:30pm...So I would say this is more of a full day tour and should be reflected as such in the tour description. Otherwise, a very good overall experience!!

We had such a great time on our tour! Kat was prompt and even gave us extra time to get ready since we had just landed in Phuket from Bangkok. She was patient, informative, and most importantly, HILARIOUS! We really enjoyed her tour as she explained everything in depth. We stopped to see the Phuket View Point which was beautiful! Then we went to the Big Buddha where she explained how it was built and various other things while inside. We donated some baht and designed our own leaf that we were able to put up anywhere we wanted on the premise. She then took us down to get blessed by a monk who tied a bracelet on us. Then we went to Wat Chalong where she explained the history of the various monks and we even participated in various Buddhist traditions such as praying, blessings, and got to see the beautiful temples. We had a lovely lunch on the beach with soup, chicken, rice, shrimp, and vegetables. Then we went to a cashew factory and got to taste about 20 flavors of cashews. We skipped the gem factory because we were absolutely exhausted. Kat took pictures of us everywhere we went and knew all the good spots! I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone 100!

I was actually the only person on this tour so it was a very personalized experience. The tour guide was kind and very knowledgeable. The only thing I would recommend is not doing the gem museum. It seems like a bit of a pointless addition. Other than that, I highly recommend this tour.

Managed to see the sights advertised Karon view point and big buda which were great. The lunch was dissapoting it seemed to be a buffet with a bit of everything. The pearl factory and nut factory were just there to increase sales and not needed on the tour. Friendly staff but a bit dissapointed.

This was a nice experience. The temples are beautiful and you are able to getting a blessing from a monk. Lunch was just okay. After you will visit a cashew factory that provides fresh nuts. The visit to gem dealer is just a money grab and shouldn't be part of such a spectacular day. Our tour guide, Kat was kind, patient and knowledgeable.
