Loved the village and the experience. Our guide Mike was an extra on the show and did a wonderful job
Carla_F, May 2026
Nice tour with knowledgeable guide. I would only caution if you are unsteady on your feet that the walk is steep at times and uneven. But highly recommend if you’re a doc martin fan. You see back areas of the village you would likely miss on your own exploring.

This tour was well worth it. Worth every penny. The tour guide, Mike Meakins, was brilliant and was part of the cast of the Doc Martins series, so his knowledge was incredible. Strongly recommend

A fantastic tour of Port Isaac and Doc Martin’s Port Wenn-a truly remarkable and informative guide with first hand knowledge
Sheila_Z, Apr 2026
We enjoyed seeing the locations from the show and exploring in the back streets. It was like a trip down memory lane hearing the stories again and seeing the places they were filmed.

It brings you very close to the experience of Port Wenn. It's all there, and our tour guide (Mike Meakins) had been a more or less recurring extra throughout the series from the beginning and gave a lot of insight into the production Great job.
Nicky_F, Mar 2026
Mike was a great tour guide. Do much insight for those Doc Martin fans, but you don't have to be a fan of the series as it's very interesting knowing all the history of Port Isaac. Excellent tour.

Great “Doc Martin” tour from Dave our guide. One of a few locals that still live in Port Isaac and “starred” in all but 1 of the 10 series of Doc Martin. Very informative tour and history of Port Isaac so would recommend - thank you Dave!

Mike was excellent, very informative and as an actor in the series, he was very knowledgeable, recommended

Dave is an excellent Tour guide, with a wealth of knowledge! Those in our group who knew noting about Doc Martin enjoyed the Tour and learning more about Port Isaac. The Doc Martin fans enjoyed all the fun facts and familiar scenery. Incredible photo opps.

Interesting tour with Dave. A very knowledgeable guide who actually appeared in some Doc Martin episodes

It is absolutely fantastic and a must for anyone who has ever seen the show, our guide was Mike Meakins and he was an extra (SA) special person involved in the show and was just an absolute pleasure.

Brilliant, gives you insight into the filming of the programme, takes you around the main places of filming and also really interesting history of this beautiful village
Lisa_M, Sep 2025
Inside look into the Doc Martin story with lots of walking up and down. Mike is a great guide and has many fascinating tidbits to share.
William_S, Sep 2025
If you’re a Doc Martin fan, this is a very nice tour of spots where filming took place and other parts of the village. The tour takes a little over an hour allowing time to wander further on your own and enjoy lunch.
Lesa_S, Aug 2025
It was a fantastic tour. Mike our tour guide was so informative and had been in Doc Martin so knew the actors and everyone behind the scenes. He had some brilliant stories to share about what went on behind and infront of the camera. I throughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed the show. Port Issac is so idyllic, beautiful part of Cornwall
Carolyn_S, Aug 2025
The tour was very informative & our guide actually appeared in the TV show himself. A lovely, interesting walk through the streets of Port Isaac. Very hilly though ! Highly recommend 😃
Jennifer_D, Aug 2025
It was a lot of fun! Our guide was great! And
it was fun that he was an extra on the show.
Will definitely do it again.
Tracey_M, Aug 2025
Im not sure what I was expecting but it was basically a run down of which buildings they used the exterior for to shoot some scenes. We got bored and left about halfway through Dave the tour guide was very difficult to hear, and while knowledgeable, delivered the meagre contents in a really flat and dull manner.
Rosemarie_P, Jul 2025
It is more a 1 hour than 1 hr 30 min tour. We saw all the main points of interest and Dave had some interesting stories to tell. Port Isaac is truly beautiful.

Excellent tour. Very knowledgeable guide and entertaining. Even my husband who never watched a Doc Martin show enjoyed himself.
Teresa_B, Jul 2025
Brilliant tour. Guide was so knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Would recommend. Port Isaac very pretty

For us, as big Doc Martin fans, nothing could really ruin the experience of getting to see the town of Portwenn/Port Isaac, where our beloved TV characters live. We had gorgeous weather on the day of our tour and it was such a treat to actually walk the streets of our favorite Cornish village. Our tour guide was an older gentleman who pointed out the sites and explained what scenes had been filmed at various locations. However, he was pretty low-key, to the point of seeming a bit disinterested, and his rather sparse commentary omitted details about scenes he could easily have included. I also found him to be soft-spoken and difficult to hear. He repeatedly pointed out homes in the village where no one lived anymore, as nearly all had been turned into “holiday lets” (vacation rentals). The tour is advertised as being 1.5 hrs long, but he wound things up a good 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Overall a bit disappointing as we had booked a private tour guide/driver to take us from cruise port of Falmouth up to Port Isaac pretty much just for this tour.

Mike was friendly and well versed in the history of the show and Port Isaac. He was also able to add his personal experiences as a resident and a cast member. I highly recommend this tour.

Really interesting tour with our guide Mike, lots of interesting and quirky facts, enjoyable and fun… Thanks Mike

While the town slopes down to the harbor, the tour itself was not that hard. It was a more difficult walk to and from the car park.
Our guide was very nice. He had some small roles in some of the episodes. He was very knowledgeable about the filming of the show.
I would recommend this to any Doc Martin fan. My husband didn’t really watch the show but enjoyed the tour as well.
It lasted 1 hour instead of 90 minutes.
Dale_W, Jun 2025
Great guide and I felt like I was in Port Wenn. He had fun stories about the show to tell us about. Totally recommend this tour.
