Overview
Ride your own all-terrain vehicle (ATV) through the rugged terrain of Negril, then follow it up with a horseback ride on the beach. This tour combines two of Negril's most popular outdoor activities in one, which means less time arranging details on your end. Follow a guide through the sandy washes, rocky hills, and mangrove systems to Salmon Point, where you'll transfer to horseback for a relaxing ride on the beach. This tour was great!! I had no complaints other than the hot sun lol but what do you expect on the island ?? The tour guide men were SOOOO NICE & SWEET & so informative. Luckily when i went it was just me & my mom in the group so we were able to spend as much time as we wanted on the atv’s & horseback . It was better that way even the tour guide said it , we spent so much time in the water . Nothing was rushed! I’m glad we went the day we went & we went early . I highly recommend this tour!!!

Super fun and super muddy (brown clay). My fault .. ruined good trainers, shorts, and my fitbit. Should have bought water shoes and stowed fitbit in locker. Bottom line: You're gonna get muddy .. the kind that doesn't wash out. :)

If you are doing the ATV they won’t let you do it with open toes! Got caught having to buy their shoes from the shop. The ATV’s were good fun but be prepared to get very muddy! White shorts was not a good idea. The horse ride was a nice experience going deep in the sea with them, but be clear this is a walking tour! So if you are a bit more experienced rider, the guy told me if they see you trotting they get fired…

My husband and I booked 2 tours, ATV and horseback riding. Both were amazing experiences. The ATV ride was longer than expected and so fun as you traveled through Jamwest. Horseback riding was an experience that you just have to try! The horses are gorgeous, so calm and just love the water, you hear them making noises expressing their love for the water even. It’s nice that there are photographers on site to capture your memories however the printed photos were a bit fuzzy. One thing I’d suggest is to give your guests a bit more information upfront. You’re told not to bring your cell phone and it’s recommended that you store all your belongings in a locker, but by doing so, you miss out on opportunities for photo ops (on the ATV tour), and by not having cash on hand (when going down to the horses) you can’t tip in the jar provided. All in all it was 2 great experiences that we’d love to do again!

This was an amazing experience. I don’t Remember the names of any of the tour guides, but I do remember that one was a woman, and she was exceptionally helpful and on guard at all times.

Awesome! The money was well spent!!!! The horse guides were very knowledgeable and we spent a good amount of time in the water with the horses. Then the ATV experience topped even that! I was able to drive my own ATV and hit all the bumps and curve at my own pace - fast! Lol. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, everything and will recommend to anyone!

Loved the ATV, hated the horseback riding experience simply because they pulled a scale out for me and nowhere was there notification about a weight limit for the excursion until you arrive! Not to mention this was a trip with my daughter so I had to tell my daughter I couldn’t go because their scale weighed me 16lbs over and I know this because I checked my weight when i got back home which was 234…however due their scale being off I was unable to experience this with my daughter and friends and had to send my child on the excursion without me while I waited in the hot sun for them to finish. Nextly while getting transportation back to my resort me and a another group was sat on the shuttle and forced to wait 30 mins while another group shopped in the gift shop before we could leave to prevent the Jamwest from having to make multiple trips. Also when i mentioned I wanted a refund I was told to reach out to who I booked through and paid no attention of given nothing for that inconvenience that day! This excursion is not cheap so something should be done in the event of miscommunication! For people looking to book this excursion it SAYS you must be 240 but in reality you need to be under 200lbs because their scale will weigh you over and you will be turned around at the excursion not a moment before. Good look but I’ll never book with them again and fyi i purposely did not book zip lining because I knew for a fact I didn’t meet the weight requirement for such adventure and understand safety so this not just some made up thing my entire group of moms and daughters were disappointed and very upset with the way they handled things.

The ATV!!!!! No words, the drive is an hour and exhilarating from start to finish! I did the ATV & Horseback riding, no regrets on both. The horse riding experience is so lovely, it's for about 45mins and worth the hype around it. The staff are amazing and friendly, it is good value for money and I highly recommend!

I am going to be very honest! The staff was friendly but the ATV ride had about 40 people in our group...completely overbooked. Everyone was complaining around us. The horseback riding is someone leading you with a rope down to the beach in the water for a few minutes to take pictures. I work with Viator and was disappointed in this excursion. It was a bit of a tourist trap.

Fun experience! Definitely a little confusing with how the day would go down/ the itinerary but if you go with the flow it's very fun! Our tour guides on both experiences were knowledgeable and kept a even pace (thank God because I was a nervous beginner). I would probably do this again

The excursions were amazing but the staff was rude and inconsiderate after we were done. We were done around 3:15 and kept asking what time we were leaving to go back we had dinner reservations at 7:00. The staff was rude kept saying stand over there and wait. I asked can they call us a taxi and more rudeness. We didn’t leave until about 5:30 when all the tours were done and we were the last people to leave because someone was going back to our hotel we had too wait 2 hours for 3 people when I offered to take a taxi. THEY ONLY CARED ABOUT MAKING THEIR MONEY AND DISREGARDED IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE PLANNED. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE RUDE STAFF MEMBERS.

This was the only excursion we booked during our short time in Negril, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip! Everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. We confirmed our pick up and a shuttle came to our resort to bring us to JamWest. The ATV was so fun but make sure to bring something to cover your face from all the dust. We were brought back to the main area before going to the stables. Our guide Ricky was so great!! He trained our horses and they followed him everywhere. You can tell they were truly bonded. Whenever you are done with your activities, you can take any of the departing shuttles back to your hotel and there are scheduled times about every hour that can bring you back. We really appreciated this because we only booked two activities, so we wanted to go back to our resort and spend the rest of the day there. It was so cool and the staff is awesome. Thank you for an amazing memory!

Didn’t get a chance to due horseback, due to is waiting a very long time.. by time we got to the horses the man told us they over booked and couldn’t take no more people! But our driver was great!!

Nice but do not expect too much. The ATV ride was very basic: standard route and no nice views, The horse riding trip was extremely short. For both trips: too much time was waste on waiting (to start, for horses, ect)

This excursion was love!! We had the best time ever!! The ATV RIDING was the high point for me! The horseback riding was nice, but very laid back. The horses were obedient and Tyrique was great at easing my fears and managing the horse. The only complaint was the transportation companies.. Transport took forever.

The horse riding was outstanding. Knowledgeable friendly guides. As we walked along the trail they told us all about the local agriculture and even picked herbs along the way and shared with us. Highly recommend.
