Bobby, our tour guide, was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He felt terrible when he realized that the owner of the tour company had never disclosed to us that the villages would be closed on Sundays. This was extremely disappointing, as visiting the villages was an important part of the experience we expected.
Unfortunately, the mud pool facilities were also very disappointing. At the entrance, they entice visitors with foot and body massages, but the reality was completely different from what we expected. The foot massage was basically a quick rub in an open area next to dogs and people talking. The body massage was performed in a small shack with towels that appeared dirty and unhygienic. It was not a relaxing or professional spa experience.
What made this even more surprising was seeing a neighboring facility that appeared far more upscale, clean, and refined. I wish we had been taken there instead.
On a very positive note, the botanical garden tour was exquisite and one of the highlights of the day.
Bobby deserves five stars for his professionalism and kindness, but unfortunately, the overall tour experience did not meet expectations because of the lack of disclosure and the poor quality of the mud pool and massage facilities.
Bobby who is a native to Fiji was our tour guide and he was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the island and Fiji customs. We went to the temple, the markets, a local village, and the garden of the sleeping giant. It was a great overview of Nadi and the surrounding area.
The last day of our honeymoon and we decided to do a private tour and avoid the hustle and bustle. Really enjoyed the tour, seeing the local Hindu temple, the orchid gardens and the mud pools. Got to spend plenty of time at each location and learnt more about local Fiji culture in the process.
The tour included visits to cultural places like the temple, a village and school. The school visit was such a pleasant surprise and interaction with the children was magnificent along with their performances. The botanical garden was beautiful and included many more plants than expected and is bigger than most , prepare to walk. Our guide was knowledgeable and encouraged questions and made sure to meet all our requests

It was really good and the our guide was very friendly. Ther was no rush and we had plenty of time to enjoy the tour.
This tour was a joke. Nothing cultural or worthy of the time. The mid pool was good but the facilities were very sub par. Save your money!

The best excursion to see all of Nadi highlights. We had an amazing time with everything we did. Wonderful day spent. Our tour guide, Ananda, was very knowledgeable and kept us informed the entire way. We enjoyed his historical instructions between site visits. This is a must do if you are visiting Nadi. My husband and I enjoyed the private tour which allowed us to spend the needed time at each stop. But I think either option is wonderful.

Our tour guide Anand was amazing. Vast amount of local knowledge, let us take our time at visitor sites. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed the private tour with Nit. We had only one day in Fiji between flights & knew nothing about this country. He shared information & answered our many questions. The India palace, farmers market, school, native village & garden of the sleeping giant were all interesting & beautiful. Mud bath not our thing so we skipped. Nit was delightful & a safe driver.

Very friendly driver. Loved visiting the school and hearing the students sing. The private air conditioned car made this hot, humid day tolerable. Plus we could adjust the schedule to our own amount of time at each stop.
