My driver reached out ahead of time to let me know where to meet him. Passport control took forever, but my driver contacted me. Eventually, after receiving my luggage, he met me and handled my heavy luggage. He drove me to the hotel, and it was a very satisfactory experience.

I can only highly recommend Yahya for your airport transfer. He confirmed our pick up the day before and was in constant communication with us on the day of our arrival, our trip was flawless. Due to an accident we weren’t able to do the Muscat tour we had arranged with him but hope to be able to return soon and complete our experience.

The price is shown to you before booking, my dear. Now everything is high, its price and the tax, and our prices are the cheapest in the region. The price of Tamsi at the airport and the hotel taxi is higher than our price.

Wadi Shab - not too shabby

The drive to wadi shab was a bit more than the mentioned 1 hour but the mountain scenery was nice. We were a couple and one single on a group tour which was better than paying the private tour price for just two people. Our guide was from Tiwi and so was very familiar with the route and was able to tell us what to expect. Some tours just drop you off at the start, pay for the short boat ride to get to the other side and then tell you to be back in 3 hours. While the trail is reasonably marked and there are usually many people on the trail willing to help make sure your guide goes with you. We also took over 4 hours to get to the waterfall and back so hopefully your guide lets you take your time. You do need to be an average swimmer as several pools are deep and you need to tread water. Especially in the cave there are really no places to rest except holding onto the ledges. You will want water shoes. Do the 1 hour hike in regular sneakers and then change into your water shoes at the pools. The hike was longer than advertised but it was very nice and scenic.

It wasn't easy because there is restriction in the pick up - Exit C. Only airport taxi is allowed, accordingly. One needs to communicate with the driver to pace the way to your hotel or destination.

This is a scam. I checked before travelling that this was a return fare to AND from the airport as it says in description .The operator said yes. On the drive from the airport the driver informed me it was only one way.

How do you expect that it is in two directions and you did not put the pick-up from the hotel and the time to go to the airport, you just put the pick-up from the airport to the hotel?
