Without doubt one of the the most beautiful cities in the world! Our guide for the tour was Waleed, who made us feel so welcome. The entire experience was extremely great. Waleed was very flexible (travelling with a toddler, really appreciated this!) and he really deserves a special thanks, definitely went way above and beyond for us. Every stop on the tour was more stunning than the last. Highly recommend this tour, Muscat and Waleed!

Unreliable company

This company is unreliable and should be avoided. I booked my trip for pick up at 9am. By 9.45 am they still had not arrived (and not messaged) so after much effort I managed to speak to them (viator tried with no joy). They then informed me that the guide wasn't coming and they could get another guide who was an hour away. When I pointed it that this meant I would not be able to tour the mosque as it closes at 11, they said they would need to cancel. They then advised me to get a taxi. Very unprofessional. My advice would be to book with other companies who are more reliable.

Dear sir , We know how much it is disappointed when you are not satisfied with your experience . But kindly note their was a street accident that is why their was a delay in pick up . Our staff contact you and give you 2 choices : 1 - Either to do the tour but will skip the mosque as it close for visitors by 11 . 2 - To do the whole trip another day . You refused the two choices .

The tour of Muscat was excellent - Ahmed our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Throughout the half day, we covered numerous sites/attractions (all fantastic) and certainly fitted a lot of sightseeing in - A credit to Ahmed that the tour never felt rushed in the slightest. The tour was a great success in no small part to Ahmed who is a very personable and pleasant individual.

Better of getting a taxi and going places yourself

The tour was not as expected. A number of places we were meant to see during the tour were closed and consequently we were unable to view them properly. We feel as though the price of the tour did no reflect the service that was provided, having spent close to £200 and still left to be disappointed by the final result is not good. The tour is advertised on the site to be a half day tour which would be “4 hours to 5 hours” however we were only provided with 3 hours, again minimising what we were provided with. The mosque was closed because it was outside of opening hours (we hadn’t been told about these hours prior to booking), the opera house wasn’t open either. We were taken there with the assumption of going inside (which we were told) but then later told we can’t go in, so again we saw nothing. Also we had already been to the souk the day before ourselves, so weren’t taken there again as part of the tour, we asked for an alternative to be provided but there was none offered for this to compensate or make up for that within the tour. In conclusion we were extremely disappointed with this service/tour which was been provided and do not feel we were provided with the service that has been charged for.

Also Opera house is stop photo not visit from Inside .
