The boat ride was so relaxing and a lot of fun. The captain was personable, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We learned a lot and it was hard to leave. Small group so pretty intimate.

Make sure you get the address right as the address on the site is the one to their office and the actual meet up was at Jacques Cartier dock in old montreal. The tour guide was nice to have waited for us as we were 10 mins late. The tour itself takes you to the gate at lachine canal then turns to take you to the bridge on the other side and then back to the port. The tour had great views and was worth the money and the tour guide was great. Great experience and would recommend to friends and family

It was a nice warm day but colder on the boat since going fast and got wet. Bring something warm. Great way to see the city for water.

We had an amazing experience on the Ultimate Montreal Boat Tour! The views of Montreal from the water were absolutely stunning, and the boat was clean, comfortable, and well organized. Was a nice little ride.. we went in the morning tour.. it was relaxed trip round the port.. the weather was really nice on the day we went so it helped.. it was a small boat so was not crowded.. definitely recommend it.. only trouble we had was finding the place to board.. I was running up and down the pier at the last minute cause there was no name of the place I had to go cause I booked from Viator.so maybe a suggestion would be to update the meeting location to include the name of the tours..apart from that everything else was great..would definitely recommend

Really nothing to see and no need to go to the sphere as the waters are not calm . Just go in the harbor.. could not understand our guide because he had no microphone. Would not recommend a boat tour in Montreal. Also we are seniors and the walk down to the harbor is way too steep and no elevator!

Regarding access to the dock, we understand that the walk and slope can be challenging for some visitors, particularly those with reduced mobility.

Check in was unorganized and they had overbooked the boat so some guests had to wait. One lady was sitting on her husband’s lap the whole time.
We went into dead end docks to kill time, looking at shipping containers abandoned buildings. The captain was nice but no one could hear him.
It was cool to see the skyline eventually but not worth the time or money. Tour wasn’t even a hour long. Would not recommend.

Fun, open air, low key small group experience. Docking is toward end of pier.
We left just after the pirate boat, and the group discussed potential boarding and taking it over to show what pirates are about. Alas, the wine we were enjoying up front was of more interest to our wives.

Absolutely Amazing! It was our favorite activity in Montreal. So fun and informative, perfect start to our trip! I don’t know how anyone couldn’t find the place, it was obvious and right where all the other boat tours are, very easy to find! Cannot recommend enough!

This was a great boat tour of old Montreal. Our driver was wonderful. We saw a lot in one hour. One hour a perfect time for this Tour would recommend.

The tour itself was enjoyable , and very relaxing. What got to me was I scheduled the tour for 3:00pm I didn’t get on until almost 3:30. So if you have want to book a tour or activity don’t do it unless you can have flexibility. Lady told us that will be 5 minutes more and then it ended up being 30 minutes. I had to ask how much longer. If I’d known this would happen. I’d book with another company.

The tour supposed to be for an hour but ended in 40 min. Started at 1:30 and ended at 2;10 saying it's an hour boat tour is misleading.

It’s a great boat ride around the sky line & dividing islands. Some interesting information provided by our guide in both French & English, we definitely recommend this if you do not have much time in the city and it gets you away from the crowds. 4 for mild disorganization boarding 2 boats and no communication getting us off and on the boat- though explained after.

Being on the water on a beautiful day was amazing! We were asked by the guide if we spoke English or French and understood we had a mixed group and assumed the guide would speak in both English and French. Sitting by the motor, I could only hear broken parts of what was said, but there was NOT a lot said in English. The tour guide maybe pointed out a couple of things on the water the entire time. We set out in the boat and then were back at the dock after about 20 minutes, the guide hopped off the boat and returned a few minutes later, and we departed again- no explanation was given. After being out less than an hour, maybe 45 minutes total, we headed back to dock. If it wasn't for the employees at the desk being super accomodating when we booked, I would have given it one star. The sites were beautiful and we enjoyed the city, was just hoping to learn more about the city on our tour.

I seriously don't know how this got a 4.6 and good reviews! Other than one of the people from the boat crew calling me because we were late and we couldn't find the dock, that was about it. . The area is not very nice, it's literally just all industrial. Not only that, we had dinner reservations and the boat tour is supposed to be 1 hour. About halfway through. The Captain said they were running out of gas and needed to make a stop. Seriously you ran out of gas? This set us back an extra 40 minutes!! And this was a very hot day in Montreal and all while we are roasting in the Sun. This was supposed to be a 1-hour tour wound up being an hour and 40 minutes, but I wouldn't call it a tour. I would call it torture. I've been a travel professional for over 35 years. Seriously, this is an unbiased review.
And honestly whatever he was talking about we could not understand a word. He said. I have an excellent ear for accents. And yes I'm English speaking and I'm not French but honestly I couldn't hear or understand anything and I don't know that it would have mattered anyway.

Running low on fuel during the tour and having to make an unscheduled stop was unacceptable. We also understand how frustrating it was for a one-hour tour to last approximately one hour and forty minutes, especially on a very hot day when you had dinner reservations afterward.

Captain Dominick was so kind to us when we showed up at the dock and even though we were the only 2 passengers to reserve, he took us out on the Bayliner Element, and even disembarked us near the rest rooms, per our request. Very kind Captain, even though we were only 2 people.
