Montreal at Twilight

Sharon_M, Aug 2025
We did the twilight tour soon after we arrived. It was a beautiful cool summer evening. Ronny was extremely knowledgeable about Montreal’s history and made it more interesting by connecting it to present day. This combined with an e-bike tour the following day gave us the opportunity to cover the city highlights in a short period of time. It was a wonderful visit.

Evening tour

Diane_D, Jul 2025
The tour was in the evening and unfortunately it was rainy and windy. The guide was lively and tried to make it fun, but overall was less than we had hoped for.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Hello Diane, We’re sorry to hear you didn’t fully enjoy the experience. You gave the rain 3 stars, and it's fine by us, but the tone felt a little harsh. We’re always open to respectful feedback to improve.

Went on tour with my daughter who is also looking at McGill. Just one other couple in the tour. Guide was fun and talked a lot about language and history. We found it all engaging and current!

Response from Host, Sep 2024

Janine, thank you so much for the great review, your feedback means a lot to us! We are glad you enjoyed your experience with Christian!

One of Our Fave Tours of the Trip!

Alicia_K, Aug 2024
Ronny was awesome! Was the shortest tour of our trip but was loaded with info and felt the most worthwhile. Ronny has a vibrant storytelling style of guiding and wove all the threads together like a beautiful tapestry. The evening setting was lovely. Would absolutely recommend a tour with Ronny.

Good experience

Ron was very knowledgable. He gave us the history of Montreal connected with the sites and more. Very personable and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Michel was great!

Mike_C, Aug 2024
Michel was knowledgeable, personable and humorous. He made everyone comfortable and got the whole group to open up and enjoy the tour and each other. Highly recommended. Also it was a heat wave in Montreal when we were there and the nighttime tour was a smart move.

Very interesting and informative tour

Our guide Michelle was very knowledgeable and made our tour very interesting. He answered all of our questions. We walked away knowing way more that we knew prior. Highly recommend!

Montréal has a lot to offer after dark!

Tasha_O, Jul 2023
This tour was great! My guide, Michael, was so knowledgeable and thoughtful. You could tell he really cares about the city and enjoys teaching others about it. I took a daytime tour which taught me a lot, but the Twilight Tour was even better. It was great seeing the Old Port transition from day to night and Montreal has a lot to offer after dark! My favorite part was the Cité Mémoire projections that they had around downtown that let you dive into the personal histories of the city. I tried to do it on my own, but my guide made the experience so much better.

Great Value and Informative Guide!

Ryan_W, Jun 2023
Michel was a very helpful guide who was generous with his time and very knowledgeable about the sites around Old Montreal! We enjoyed beautiful weather during our evening walk through cobblestone streets, along the port, and even inside a couple of the local buildings.

Great, informational tour of Old Montreal

Ehren_B, Jun 2023
Laura was a superb guide to the history and sites of Old Montreal. This turned out to be a private tour for my wife and I and dusk was a perfect time to see the city after a hot day. Laura was knowledgeable and friendly and interesting and I couldn't be more please with the value of this tour. This was a great way to see and learn about the area.
