Great start to our visit to Montreal

This was a great tour. Angie was delightful and very knowledgeable about the history of Montreal. She also gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to eat. She went above and beyond when a surprise rain storm hit! She knew the pefect spot to scurry under cover and continued telling us stories until we could continue. Her love of Montreal was contagious! I highly recommend this tour and definitely do it at the beginning of your trip!!

Extremely Disappointed

We have participated in many tours with Viator. Unfortunately, this tour was a waste of our time and our money. We learned very little about old Montreal; the guide was either inexperienced or didn't want to be there. he just gave a few sentences about each area that we visited. Compared with other tours we have taken, the guides have been enthusiastic and knowledgable. We regretted not taking a Hop On Hop Off bus and felt that we would have learned more about Montreal's history.

Laura, our guide, was great. We learned a lot about the history of Montreal and even some about contemporary Quebec culture. The walking was not strenuous, and we saw mostly building exteriors (went inside 3). The ‘snack’ was not necessary. Overall, a very enjoyable morning.

We lucked out and were the only 2 people on the tour with Thomas. Thomas was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable with some fun and funny facts and anecdotes. Two hours was about the right amount of time for the tour. We saw the inside of some buildings that we would never have thought to go into.
