This was a very fun excursion! Cornell was a very excellent driver/guide and we had an absolute BLAST with him! He stopped along the way and treated us to some local treats of sour sop (VERY tasty fruit) and meat patties (so good!). He was very fun, energetic, and knowledgeable. He was a very safe driver and we even laughed our butts off at his ability to dodge potholes in the road. We never felt like we were on a schedule and he truly wanted us to have a personal experience. I would definitely book with Cornell again and highly recommend him!!

Our driver was friendly, punctual and a safe driver! We prearranged a stop for a fresh lobster lunch and it didn’t disappoint!
Margaritaville (chairs are free but umbrella is $15) and Rick’s Cafe (no outside food or drinks) have free entry, but be prepared to pay for all food and drinks.
We had a wonderful time on this excursion and felt comfortable and safe with our driver during our travels from Montego Bay to Negril and back. I highly recommend this tour company.

We loved this trip so much! Even though the drive from Montego Bay to Negril is 90ish minutes, our driver, Cornell made the time fly sharing the history of Jamaica and stopping along the way for fresh coconuts and local food. 7-mile beach in Negril is beautiful. Cornell took us to a spot that was not crowded at all and it truly felt like we were on island time 😎. Rick’s cafe was a blast and the views are incredible. We jammed out with Cornell on the ride home to top off the day. 10 out of 10!

Couldn’t recommend this excursion enough! We had Cornell as our guide/driver for the day and he was fabulous. He picked us up from our hotel early and offered to make a few local pit stops along the way to seven mile beach and Rick’s.
Had an amazing experience and can’t wait to return to Jamaica!!!

What a wonderful experience. This was my 5th time traveling to Jamaica and by far my favorite excursion I’ve ever been on. Cornell was an absolute perfect host. Our tour was just my partner and I, I get super anxious in cars typically but Cornell’s vehicle was SO NICE and he is such a great guide and driver I felt really comfortable the entire journey. We went from Montego Bay to Negril for the day. Cornell gave us a verbal history of Jamaica on our journey to negril where he brought us to Seven Mile Beach and gave us three hours to ourselves to hang on the beach until our next destination. We honestly would have loved to have him hang with us on the beach but loved that we had our alone time as well. Along the way we stopped for coconuts and the most incredible beef patties we’ve ever had. Got to Rick’s Cafe at the perfect time to catch the sunset and do some cliff jumps. I cannot recommend this excursion enough. I’ve done all the rafting, catamaran, Dunn’s falls tours but this sticks out from the rest. We can’t wait to book again when we come back next year. Cornel was our driver for the day. He was amazing from start to finish. He told us so much about Jamaica and medicine etc. Took us to drink coconut water at the side of the road. Treated us to Jamaican patties. Served us champagne and beer. He was the perfect host and on the drive back to our hotel he took us to get the best jerk chicken I have ever tasted in my life. Negrill beach was the best so beautiful and Riks cafe what an experience 😍. We started the day with a driver and ended the day feeling like we were part of Cornels family. I would recommend this tour operator to everyone he is amazing. We certainly saved the best till.last as this was our last tour in Jamaica and definitely our favourite. Let me start off by saying... Cornell is the ABSOLUTE best tour guide and local host. He was so knowledgeable about all things Jamaica. From the culture, history, people, food, local vegetation, music, etc., he's your guy. I traveled with my elderly mom, and he was so patient and considerate of her physical limitations, which made her feel at ease and totally comfortable during the tour.
Aside from Cornell being an awesome human being/tour guide, we really enjoyed 7 mile beach and Rick's Cafe. Good vibes, good music, great food and even better people. Big up Jamaica!!!
I HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone who's looking to explore, learn, and chill back on a fun beach trip to Negril.

Spent a fun day sightseeing in the Negril area. The beaches were covered with mounds of seaweed due to a recent storm which made walking along the beach a little more difficult. We had a fun time bodysurfing and visiting Margaritaville. We didn't take a boat ride but saw plenty of others having fun on tubes and parasails.
Rick's Cafe was a great stop and we loved jumping off the cliffs into the sea. The divers were great and were working the tips, but not in an obnoxious way. Jamaicans are warm, gracious, and very hospitable.

Cornell was a great guide. I had been under the impression that the trip was customizable for a more authentic Jamaican experience, but I guess we booked the wrong trip for that. The two stops we did make were nice, and Cornell was very informative with historical facts about the island.

We had a great excursion!! He picked us up outside our hotel and we hadn't had a chance to eat, he stopped and got us some jerk chicken and this delightful strawberry sorrel beer. We went to seven mile beach and it was fun and relaxing. We went to patsy and we had the most delicious ice cream and edibles. When he got to Rick's we had so muchhhhhh fun! It was an overall great time.

Cornell was our tour guide. He was an awesome guide. He made us feel comfortable, shared a lot of history, and made stops along the road for us to try different fruits. We had the absolute time of our lives with funtriptoursinjamaica. Cornell, our tour guide, was beyond great to the point that we booked another 2 days of adventure! He made random extra stops for authentic food, fruits, and pictures so that we can get the real feel for jamaica. He made us feel safe and was protective of us with the locals. He was extremely personable, genuine, thoughtful, and his hospitality is like no other. He was in constant contact with us (not in an overbearing way) even when he wasn't with us as he had to send his partner to us one day ( he was also great btw!). I mean, we even had insider jokes with him (Cornell,make sure you put your hands up when you cough 🤣)!Hands down the BEST service I've ever received. Will Def find him again for the next trip. Trust, you'll regret not booking with him!

If you wondering if you should book this tour. This is definitely the one you should book. We had such a wonderful time with Mr. Cornell. He had cold beverages and cold air conditioning for us. He asked us what we’re some of the things we were interested in doing for the day and we did EVERYTHING we had on our list. Mr.Cornell first took us souvenir shopping before heading to seven miles beach.. during our drive to seven miles beach he gave us a history of Jamaican culture and we also stopped for Jamaican Patties. When we arrived to negril, we were able to stop for pictures. We spent two hours at seven miles beach which was plenty of time for us. Next we headed to rick’s cafe. Lastly, on the way home Mr Cornell stopped at two different restaurants in order for us to get our oxtails!! We had such a great experience with Mr. Cornell. I will definitely be recommending him to all my family and friends. I will also be booking Funtrip Jamaica the next time I’m in Jamaica!!!

Enjoyed riding with friendly and knowledgeable driver/guide, Devon. I LOVED that we didn’t have to share the car or driver with anyone else. Beyond taking us to the scheduled tour spots, Devon also took us to a couple of local spots which enabled us to taste authentic fruit and ice cream. Devon was calm and easy to talk to and adjusted to our vibe. For example, on the ride back from the excursion, we were tired and less talkative and he respected that and limited the conversation. Lastly, Devon’s pride in his island was clear throughout the tour and his enthusiasm encouraged us to consider returning soon. Cornell, the coordinator, contacted me 1 week prior to the trip to confirm the reservation and to ensure I didn’t have any questions. Also contacted me the morning of trip to confirm driver’s arrival. In addition, he was very responsive to my texts and calls during the tour. I highly recommend visiting the featured stops on this tour - Margaritaville and Rick’s Cafe. The 2.5-3 hours we spent at both stops was plenty of time to thoroughly enjoy them.

Devon and Cornell are absolutely amazing. On the trip to Negril we stopped and had authentic Jamaican patties. Devon set up the parasailing for us in Negril. On the way to Rick's, We stopped at Patsys coffee shop. This is a great place with a coffee ice cream shake. It's to die for. It also has an absolutely amazing view of the ocean, as u are right there on the ocean. Rick's was great especially since we had never done it before.
Devon is the nicest guy and will do anything for ya. He is a very safe driver and shared a lot of great information with us. This was the absolute best experience and I wouldnt trade it for anything. I dont have one complaint and dont think I could come up with one even if I tried. I WOULD ALL DAY RECCOMEND THIS,

The beach was beautiful. They had security to keep the locals from bothering you so that was good. We had nice lounge chairs were we sat from Margaritaville. We had so much fun at Ricks! Very lively, food and drinks were good. Loved watching the cliff divers.
Very pricey but so happy that we did this tour. You should book private it’s so much nicer.

Our driver, Devon was amazing! He was an excellent driver, as well as informative and oh so friendly! We loved him. He took us where we wanted to go. The day trip is long, so be prepared for that. Rick’s cafe is a fun place to hang out and watch the sunset. Margaritaville is a great way to enjoy the Seven Mile Beach. Good margaritas!

Cornell was our driver and he was SO amazing!! Taught us a little bit of history about Jamaica, taught us about the plants, took us site seeing, we stopped at office of nature restaurant , great food, music and vibes. Ricks cafe was super fun too.

We had an amazing time with Cornell who helped make our first time in Jamaica unforgettable! He had fresh mangoes for the drive and we stopped at a local spot where we had the tastiest patties. Our guide Devon was GREAT! I'm a foodie and I really wanted to try some local goodies. Our first stop he brought us to get some beef patties. It was bittersweet because they were by far the best patties, we had the ENTIRE trip. We tried numerous spots, and it just doesn't compare to the local ones. My boyfriend wanted to try some fruits and Devon brought us to a woman he knew. We were able to try a variety of fruit we never had before and sipped on some chilled coconuts aswell. On our 3rd stop we stopped at the beach where we were able to pick out lobster and have its slow cooked on the grill. The lobster was accompanied by rice, sauteed onions and peppers, garlic bread ... DELICIOUS! There was beach bar aswell with live music and along the beach there were many gift shops. Our last stop was Ricks cafe and honestly JUST GO! pictures and words do not do the pace justice. its a MUST experience! Devon deserved 5 stars!! he really was the best guide we had the entire trip!

We had the best day with Cornell traveling to the west coast of Jamaica. We felt comfortable and safe all day under under Cornell's guidance. We loved the extra lunch treat of Office of Nature in Negril, a tiny restaurant and bar right on the beach. Getting to pick out a lobster and enjoy it with a red stripe was one of the highlights of our entire trip. While we spent the rest of our vacation at our resort, we believe seeing the small towns along the coast and seeing all the local sights and sounds of Negril was the best part of our trip.
