Overview

A Jamaican must see

What a womderfully unique experience. A little different than I expected with having to wait at a bat/restaurant to go on your excursion, but we still haf a great time.

horrible lagoon tour experience

The driver came to pick us up late. He took additional $20 per person from us so $80 in total. Took us to the wrong location and disappeared. Once found we tried the next location for the lagoon tour they couldn't take us on the boat because of the curfew so we spent 15 mins looking around. This was the worst experience I ever had through viator. When I called viator about the confusion they did not help at all. All my other bookings went great except for this one. I am highly disappointed.

Ms. Tiana Sittol and her guests stayed in Runaway Bay St. Ann which is one hour drive from Montego Bay. Prior to confirming the booking we advised the guests, that the price quoted for transportation for the Luminous Lagoon Tour is from Montego Bay and not St. Ann. We advised Tiana it would cost an extra US$20.00 per person round trip and she agreed to pay this amount. The communication with her was through Viator Message Traveler. She requested to be picked up 5:30pm. The tour was scheduled to start approximately 7:15pm. The driver arrived at the hotel ahead of the pick up time and departed 5:30pm. They arrived at Luminous Logoon 6:30pm. They were the first set of guests to arrived for the tour. They were taken to the reception area where guests would pay before going on the tour. The representative not find a reservation for them and she instructed the driver to bring them to another office on the same property. It was at that point the guests told the representative that they had booked online. This resulted in them being delayed to join the tour but the matter was resolved and they were able to join shortly after. The curfew did not impact the tour. The driver stayed the entire time with the guests and assisted in having the booking sorted out. Luminous Lagoon can confirm that Ms. Sittol and her guests were accommodated on the tour. Having outlined the chain of events I respectfully ask that this negative review be removed. I have always treated my guests professionally and have always extended the highest level of customer service.
