What an amazing experience! The art and gardens are beautiful. Tamika, Ian, and Ayale are gracious hosts. Their mountainside masterpiece has to be one of the most peaceful places on Earth!

This was a spectacular experience! Ian is a captivating storyteller and Tamika is an incredible gardener (and a hoot!). My husband and I had a great time touring her garden and learning about her and Ian's philosophy on life. The views are outstanding and even better when you can enjoy them with a little hummingbird perched on your finger. Nature can also be found in Ian and Tamika's art in the gallery, which displays moving images of life and culture in Jamaica. This was the highlight of our trip!

The owners were fantastic, friendly and very informative. Feeding the hummingbirds was aMAZING! Their son guided us thru the gardens and explained all the flowers, how they terraced the land and built their home.

The family who owned the garden were gracious and informative. The garden was beautiful. You could be here an hour or two but we spent three and enjoyed every moment. The gift shop and gallery is a must see and buy kind of place with original art by dad, mom, and their handsome son.

The lovely Ahhh Ras Gallery and Garden was more than a tour or an experience, it was a story. A story of the love this beautiful family had for one another. The garden was an extension of this love, every flower/plant representing Tamika’s passion while the gallery represented Ras’ talent. SPOILER ALERT: I am about to go into great detail about why this experience is worth your time and money but to make a long story short, make sure to visit if ever in Jamaica!!! It will be the highlight of your life if you love nature, life, love etc…! 10/10 bring your friends, family, your friend’s family haha
•There were absolutely no issues whatsoever in regards to pickup/dropoff and no improvements to be made here. Everything was perfect just the way it was. I only wish to be able to spend an eternity in this lovely garden!
• This was my first time seeing hummingbirds in real life and I have to say, they were very fairy like :) beautiful beautiful creatures, each one with their own personality. Rocky was my favorite as he was very charismatic and reminded me of the Rocky I had at home!
•Ras’ story alone about their magical home turned garden and gallery would’ve been worth the money, bringing tears to my eyes for how much of a blessing life can be. He is quite the story teller. I had almost forgotten about the tour haha!
•Tamika then gave of us one the greatest things life has to offer: food! A home cooked meal made with love that had my boyfriend and I scraping the plate for whatever bits were leftover.
•Ayale was a wonderful tour guide as he was very detailed and delightful in the description of the marvelous plants and flowers Tamika nurtures. My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to have left with some wisdom bestowed upon us by the kind hearted Ayale: a lesson about self-love and the importance of staying true to self!
• To finish off, I’d like to say out of my 7 days in Jamaica, out of the few tours I was able to experience, nothing compared to Ahhh Ras. In fact it was the highlight of my trip. I recommend it to all plant lovers and lovers of the human kind. Tamika and Ras are a beautiful representation of love, their garden and gallery showing what you can create with the foundation that is a strong bond. Thank you guys for welcoming us into your home, into the story of Ras, Tamika, and Ayale!

Going into this I did not realize this was the hosts actual home and gardens. They were both so gracious inviting us to hear their story and share their garden & gallery. Very lovely couple and impressive story of how the property came about. The views are magnificent and having been able to feed a hummingbird was the topping on the cake. Would definitely recommend for any nature/art lovers.

This tour began with a beautiful history about how the property was purchased and built. Didn’t notice the garden was behind me as I listened. When we began our tour I was impressed with the captivating plants and trees. I also loved the art work in the exhibit. I left understanding how passionate the owners are about their craft; gardening and art.

This tour was an opportunity to experience a slice of heaven on earth! The hosts created this wonder with their own hands; through creative problem solving, perseverance, determination, and a love for nature. Their relationship to the plants, birds, land, and water is one of humble appreciation. The trip up the hill was an adventure!

Had an amazing time at the garden. The owners and tour guide were friendly, kind and knowledgeable. It was inspiring to hear their story of taking the property from nothing to something magnificent. The grounds and views are breathbtaking and the hummingbirds were so fun to feed and greet. So many things to touch, see and experience. I would hands down recommend this activity to anyone in the area.

Ras was a gracious host and we loved hearing the history of his garden and gallery, and marvelling at the beauty of each. This was a highlight of our trip. (Even our young son was enchanted!)
