Excellent way to spend a cheeky lunch time and afternoon. Amazing food, and if you dont like a dish you can tell them in advance or on the day, and they will attempt to cater your needs. Damon was amazing also. Great wine recommendations.

Food is wonderful and so is the service. This is the second time we've been on the Q Train. Done 1st class and the dining room, both great.

Train moves slowly and stops a couple of times to stretch legs.
Staff were friendly and helpful, food was lovely and well prepared and presented.

It's a great experience. The steam train was really exciting to see. The food was amazing and luxurious. The view wasn't always that amazing, but still totally worth it if you want to spoil yourself.

I don’t know whether you would call this a hidden gem or not but the day on the Q Train was absolutely fantastic. From the time you arrive you are greeted with a friendly, professional service. The food is sublime and the service outstanding. Food is not only served but explained in detail its ingredients and origins. Could not fault anything from our trip today.

A very well organised event. The staff were lovely and very attentive throughout the whole event. Food was fantastic, and creative, using locally sourced ingredients. There were two pit-stops along the way; one for 15 minutes to stretch your legs and use the bathroom and one for 30 minutes to explore briefly the Queenscliff Town Centre. Overall, a really lovely day. We will be doing it again in Summer.

I went for my anniversary dinner and the experience was amazing , we opted for vegetarian food and the food was delicious. The overall experience was awesome and i would like to book the private cabin for next time 🥂

Unfortunately the experience was that great, the train was absolutely freezing and although bringing this to staff’s attention, our carriage did not get any warmer even with the train moving!! Funky enough first class was very toasty !! My steak was also very over cooked so it didn’t add fir a good experience
