This trip took us back into history. The cathedrals and catacombs were magnificent. Lunch was basic, but good enough. Our guide Danielle was knowledgable and her descriptions were enjoyable.

Althea, the tour guide was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The historical information she provided along with the botanical information at San Anton’s garden was very valuable. Althea made the made a very memorable one for us. I would travel with her again to learn more about Malta.

Our guide Janny was great. We liked everything we visited. We wish there was more time in Mdina and to have visited St.Paul's catacombs instead of spending a whole our at the craft village.

It was a good excursion. Everything was great but we didn’t get but a glimpse of the Dingli Cliffs. Other than that it was good.

Had an amazing experience. This tour was great, I learned a lot about the history of Malta and visited beautiful cities. One of the best tours I have been to.
The lunch was good.
Friendly tour guide. I was having issues locating the meeting point and the company operator helped me a lot. I would 100% recommend this tour

A very thorough visit of Mosta, Mdina, Rabat and a nice step out to Dingly Cliffs. All thanks to an excellently knowledgeable guide Vince.

John was very informative and organized. Humor and caring for us all. The sites were varied and good choices. Lunch was good. It was a great tour.

Our guide, Marisol, was passionate about her country and articulate which always makes a tour better. Mdina and Rabat are stunning.
I felt a pang of disappointment when I saw the restaurant because several large tour groups arrived at once so my thinking was it would be busy and awful. Surprisingly it was good, the food was well cooked and tasty and the staff were very attentive. The wine is free and was not bad at all but all other drinks are chargeable, so you can get day drunk for free but need to pay to stay hydrated. Lunch was also a fabulous way to chat to some of the group.
Everything was well organised and I would definitely recommend as a way to see the highlights Malta has.
My only criticism is I wish we’d had more time at the cliffs because it is a stunning area and the views are spectacular

Excellent tour guide. Many opportunities to spend money. Different types of location visited giving variety to tour. Decent lunch

Always on schedule and good driving to all sites. Tour guide was great, very warm and engaging. Not much time to spend at each place, and my vegan lunch could have been more than a dinner salad.
Andrew_L, Oct 2025
A very enjoyable trip. A good way of seeing a lot of places in a relatively short time. A good three course meal with wine included. Wonderful places to see.
Suresh_R, Oct 2025
The whole tour was done poorly and not upto standards. First of all we waited with the driver who dropped us of not clear on when the guide was coming - waited an hour. Then the first guide had to switch to a 2nd guide midway. The 2nd guide acknowledged that we lost an hour and hence we will not be able to see/do everything at one of our stops. Very frustrating and unhappy.

Very informative tour with great highlights. You can see a lot of places and get the in depth information. Our guide Ana was excellent

Full of interesting sights and history. The guide was very knowledgeable. The lunch was tasty. Would recommend

Start the day with 2 shopping stops, which took over an hour of our times. Not enough free time at scenic stops, felt very rushed. Tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable.
Marta_F, Sep 2025
It was a very nice tour, well organized with interesting places to see. The tour guide was good, she shared lots of information to help us understand the history and story of the places.
Kristina_K, Sep 2025
After a very unorganized beginning, it was quite lovely. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. I learned a lot. Malta is a beautiful country. Thank you!

We were picked up from our hotel and after few more pickups we were off to a packed day expertly guided by Anna and driven by Steve. Anna was brilliant and full of Maltese knowledge from language to plants to history to economics. First stop at San Anton's garden and on a day of our visit, the Maltese President was in her palace. Our next stop was an artisan centre of Ta'Qali where we saw a glassblower and a silversmith at work. This is also a splendid place to buy authentic Maltese souvenirs to take home. Back on a bus and heading towards a town of Mosta. The visit to Mosta's basilica is well worthy and it's easy to believe a miracle by Virgin Mary to save the basilika from an enemy bombing during WW2. After a cup of coffee and a bag of local nougat, Steve chauffered us to Rabat and Mdina. Anna guided us first to Rabat and a visit to Catacombs. Having had foid for soul in Mosta's basilika, it was time for food for body. We walked through picturesque streets of Rabat to our delicious 3-course lunch. After lunch we had amble time to explore Mdina, the old capital of Malta, which is also kniown as Silent City. After Mdina, we were off to the last stop to admire breathtaking views of Dingli Cliffs - a great photo opportunity - before a short drive back to Valletta and our hotel. A fabulous day, well organised, so much to see and learn from Anna and a good value of money. Stringly recommend!

Our tour guide was excellent and gave us fascinating information about the beautiful stops on the tour. I highly recommend this guide and tour.

You can see all Malta has to offer in one day!
Our guide John was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and mindful of the different age groups. Meal was not so great but edible!
Sauda_I, Jun 2025
Enjoyed this day trip. Our guide was very helpful, giving pertinent information. He made sure we were all on time. I especially enjoyed visiting Mdina. I would have preferred a bit more time there.
David_M, Apr 2025
English speaking guide was clear and articulate.
Times and meeting places were explained and orderly
Heather_N, Apr 2025
Whistle top tour, little time at each place you would have to go back independently for more but the guide gave good description. Lunch was poor and the staff at restaurant unhelpful getting served. The craft village was just a shopping place where there was given the most time to spend money. This should have been left out of the itinerary to give us more time elsewhere.
Lorna_H, Apr 2025
Lots of sights to see and really interesting guide knowledge. However I think there should be an activity rating, as there was many with mobility issues
patricia_b, Mar 2025
A very well organised tour. Ian, our tour guide, was excellent, very knowledgeable on all aspects of Malta and providing us with much entertainment with his many anecdotes. Particularly enjoyed visiting the charming San Anton Gardens (loved the peacock!) and also found the Mosta Rotunda very interesting. Don’t miss the Catacombs. Saw and learnt more of Rabat and Mdina with Ian than we would have had we visited on our own. Lunch was tasty and well organised. Good value for money.
Linda_J, Mar 2025
Excellent trip and wonderful insight into Malta. Matt our guide was knowledgeable and really made the trip, thank you. Not forgetting Richard our driver who did an incredible job on the Maltese roads. Smooth from start to finish with some amazing sights and the history to go with it. 3 course lunch and a glass of wine, yum!

Great full day tour! Our guide Charles was very knowledgable, yet light-hearted and funny. Due to weather (it rained a bit in the morning), he switched the program around a bit that allowed us to avoid rain while visiting the Mdina fortifications. He gave us enough time at every stop, answered all the questions. Lunch was provided at the cool restaraunt, food was very good and included red wine. Pick up and drop off transports were on time and used comfortable vans. Great day!
Daryl_F, Oct 2024
Pick up point not as first stated at hotel. Transfer bus/ van was old & uncomfortable. No information given regarding advanced programme of the day. Guide was knowledgeable but unorganised. His microphone battery died at start of trip. No information given regarding lunch. No consideration for older slower people.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Thank you for your feedback which is appreciated.
Gary_A, Oct 2024
Local tour guide was not friendly just appeared bored and did what he had to do. Overall the tour was good and give it a three star rating.
Amy_B, Oct 2024
Advertised as an 8 hour your. First hour was driving around in a van with a woman who never spoke? To pick up people at other places. Finally ended up at a location with many people where we were divided into different groups and put onto large buses, which were air conditioned and comfortable. We boarded the bus at 8:44 but didn’t get on the bus and moving until close to 10:00 am.
When our bus took off the tour guide told us where we would be going. The narration was rambling and difficult to understand.
We spent 20-30 minutes on the grounds of the palace where the guide pointed out the same watering system three different times.
Although there was historical information given on the tour, there was a lot of standing around waiting for people. The tour guide held up a piece of paper for us to find him which was difficult given all of the crowds. It would have been helpful for him to have something to hold high so we could find him.
Lunch was part of the tour. We did not get lunch until 2:00 pm. The pasta was great but the pork chop and vegetables were over cooked and tasteless. The wine was great though. If you wanted water, you had to purchase it.
The tour took extra time, we ended up leaving the tour early via Uber, so we could board our ship before it sailed.
Although we visited beautiful places with historic value, I would not recommend this tour.
When we booked, we thought we would be in a small group, of 12 or so, instead we were in a group of 40-50 people. I’m sure with a smaller group, this would have been a shorter tour and easier to hear the narration.
