The guide Dr Honig was very knowledgeable,
But I didn’t get to see items noted in the ad.
This event missed the mark. I believe I should get my money back! Hit

Dear Susan,
I am sorry to read that you were not satisfied with the tour.
Because of the extreme heat, I offered to show you only some of the sights and spend time in cooler areas, such as the cathedral, where an important chapter of Mainz’s Jewish history took place. You agreed to this change.
I also explained that, due to the destruction during World War II and throughout the city's history, many original sights no longer exist and are now represented by memorials. The Jewish cemetery is also too far from the city centre to visit on foot. For this reason, I show guests historical paintings and images of the buildings and places that once stood there. Many guests appreciate this way of bringing history to life.
At the end of the tour, we were both very hot, so I invited you for a cold drink in a little cafe.
You also had the option to cancel the tour free of charge up to 24 hours beforehand, when it was already clear that the day was going to be extremely hot.
I am very sorry that you did not enjoy the tour. However, I do feel that it would have been helpful if you had expressed your concerns during the tour. I could then have adapted the itinerary by taking you on a longer walk through the city, despite the heat, and into a museum where we could have looked at Jewish artefacts.

This tour isn't really making sense. There aren't any actual sites to see, and for two hours, the guide mostly tells stories and shows pictures. The guide was good, but the tour seems pretty expensive.
