That might be because you can catch sight of some of Pope John Paul II’s votive items there, such as a golden rose he gave to Jasna Góra and part of one of his cassocks that’s stained with blood from an assassination attempt.
You can also see the Black Madonna painting of the Virgin Mary, which has been credited for several miracles, including the saving of the monastery during a 17th-century Swedish invasion. Your day ends with a car ride back to Lodz.
