Walking tour of the river front of Ljubljana .

A walk through history and culture

Ljubljana is a quaint city and the important sights are all within a short walk. So a walking tour is the ideal way to get to know the city. In a walking tour, having a good guide is critical and our guide Alan did not disappoint. The only dampener was literally the weather, as the rain came soon after the walk began. But Alan did a good job of moving from spot to spot when there were short breaks in between the showers.

Fantastic Ljubjana experience

Our tour guide was fantastic! Learning the history of Ljubjana and about the architecture was very interesting. The Castle had lots to explore. I would recommend it as a way to get a good sense/see Ljubjana old town.

Good starter tour

Good little walking tour and very informative guide. It wasn’t a long tour so you didn’t get board but a starter to get your bearings and a visit to the castle with funicular was fun.

Worst Tour Ever

This is literally the worst tour I have ever had in my entire life (and I had a few!). The guide didn't provide any information about the history of Slovenia and Ljubljana. No facts at all. She was only talking about the Christmas market and how great it will look once finished. Imagine walking down the old city streets, and the guide was like: "Look at this installation! What do you think it is?" Then: "Look at these Christmas lights? What do you think this is about?". And it was like that for 1.5 hours. Won't recommend the tour to anyone.
