This is an ideal tour because we got to see so many interesting and important places in one day! The castle, the temple, the mosaics and the amphitheater, Aphrodite’s Rock, and the amazing ruins at Paphos, all entrance fees covered and quick entry into all the sites. A knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, time for lunch on our own, and then a visit to a delicious candy maker. Jam packed, beautiful and interesting! Thank you, Lenia, for making it so very special!

I had a wonderful time on this tour as a solo traveller! Our guide Michalis was funny, knowledgeable, and made the experience so enjoyable. Chris, our driver, was fantastic and got us to every stop safely – they made a great team.
The sites were beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the group was a nice mix of people. It’s a great option if you’re looking to do something different from the usual beach or mountain activities. If you’re into history or Greek and Roman mythology, this is definitely for you.
We also stopped at Paphos Marina for lunch at the oldest restaurant in town, the Pelican Restaurant – and yes, we got to meet Coco the pelican! Highly recommend this tour.

A nice view of many of the archaeological sites of Cyprus; the mosaics in the house of Dionysus in Pafos are fascinating. Our driver Chris was fantastic! Gave excellent information along the way!

This is a wonderful Historical Tour. I enjoyed the information that was given to us.
Make sure you wear good walking shoes.
The step back in History, for me, was so exciting. Seeing the Greko-Roman theatre in real life was amazing.
I wanted to go swimming at Aphrodite's birthplace. We had a day of blue sky's so the site was most impressive.

Excellent tour operator. The itinerary was excellent. The guide Michalis and the driver Chris were really friendly and accommodating. Everything was really well planned and they have excellent knowledge of the sites, the history, even the flora ! The minibus was very comfortable and air conditioned and the driving very safe. We’ve done three tours with Ascot and have been very pleased with them all. We highly recommend this family run tour operators whose hospitality is exemplary. Excellent value for money.

Great excursion to Kourion and Paphos. The tour leads you to varied places and is well organized. Sokrates is a great driver and guide - very pleasant and considerate.

Overrated! Felt rushed to most places and at the end you have 1.5 hour to the port of paphos which to a solo traveler I don’t appreciate it!

We do indeed rate this Tour as it is a great way to experience very interesting, important and beautiful places of the west part of our island in one day.
The timings are indicated on Viator and followed by our guides. It is not a fast paced Tour and we include time for pictures at the beautiful locations.
Regarding the 1.5 hour stop in Paphos harbour in your opinion it is too long for a solo traveler, however at this stop we have free time for lunch, coffee, ice cream and a nice walk across the promenade and the ancient castle. We have been operating the Tour for more than 10 years and from the feedback we had from previous clients we believe 1.5 hour is ideal.
From my understanding after our telephone communication, you did not read the timings nor the program of the Tour before hand.
Even though your review was a 1 star i was happy to hear that our guide and driver did a good job.
Next time you are in Cyprus please check out our website ascotcyprus.com we can arrange a car rental or private Tour options maybe more suitable for your liking.

Excellent knowledge and very friendly guides. Lots of history to get through and they did a cracking job. The trip included all of the entrance fees and lunch was in Paphos Harbour. Not peak season but not too expensive to eat at the more expensive restaurants. €32 for local red wine and whole Sea Bass with hand cut chips and seasonal veg.
Driver Sorates was great, knowledgeable and loved his job. €65 for the day

Second round the day after the 1st in Nicosia and Larnaca. Excellent tour perfectly orchestrated and well led. The main archaeological sites, the Rock of Aphrodite and the city of Phapos in one day. We have been conquered. On the way back, we had forgotten our phone on the bus that was brought back to us very quickly. Thanks for everything.
