Pickup details
We pick up only cruise travelers and take them back to the New Port of Limassol. The tour is set to depart from the Terminal at Limassol Port, to the way outside you will see our representative holding a sign "SPANOS BUSES". You must be at the collection point 10 minutes before the specified time.

- This is a standard tour (not a private tour), usually for 16 or more guests from the same cruise ship. You will be traveling with other guests as part of the same tour. Depending on bookings, we typically use 19-seater, 22-seater, 32-seater, or 50-seater vehicles.

The tour guide and locations to see were good, but I think the tour was too large for the tour. I found that going to the ruins was fascinating, however too short a time to spend at the location. The time spent at the various places was too short in general. I realize the tour needed to go fast enough to return to the ship on time, but I think if the group had been smaller, it would have been easier to get through. Also, maybe one less place would have been more appropriate.
The group was also quite rude at the wine tasting. Several were so concerned about getting something free, that they had no regard for others on the tour. A result of a group being too large.

We understand your comments regarding the group size and the time spent at each stop. All details regarding the excursion — including the itinerary, duration, locations visited, timing and group size — are clearly described in the tour information provided before booking. Our standard tour duration is 6 hours, however on this occasion we extended it to 7 hours (10:30am-5:30pm) in order to offer participants a more enjoyable and relaxed experience. We also returned about one hour before the ship’s departure, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free return for all guests. As cruise schedules are very strict, the itinerary is carefully planned to allow guests to experience several highlights of the region within always the available timeframe. If the cruise ship had allowed more time for the stay, you can be sure that we would gladly have offered it as well. We always do our best to provide the maximum possible experience for our guests.
Nevertheless, we truly appreciate your comments and suggestions, as they help us continue improving our services. We are also sorry to hear that the atmosphere during the wine tasting was not as enjoyable as expected. We always encourage respectful behavior among participants so everyone can fully enjoy the experience.

Our cruise ship did not stop at this port due to weather. The tour company was so nice and immediately refunded my money. I would definitely book with this tire group in the future.

Sadly, we were unable to experience this tour because the captain cancelled the port.. I will say that I did have some communication with Spanos Tours because of the uncertainty of the situation with the war that recently started. Spanos Tours answered my questions promptly. We were looking forward to our tour however the captain of the ship decided it was not safe to attempt docking in Limassol (due to weather conditions) and we continued on. I contacted Spanos Tours to advise him we would not be docking. Spanos Tours was very generous and has refunded the entire cost of the tour. If you are looking forward to our a tour in Limassol I can say that Spanos Tours was very easy to deal with and gave clear, concise information about the meeting point etc.

Our Group of 11 really enjoyed this informative tour around Cyprus. Our tour guide was very extremely knowledgeable and shared the information with us clearly so we could understand. We loved having he "wisperers" so we could hear everything she was saying. The tour delivered everything advertised in the description and got us back to the ship in plenty of time. We did not feel rushed. We really enjoyed the visit to Kourion especially the amphitheater where one form our group when down and sang Amazing Grace. You could heard perfectly. In the visit to the Monastery of the Holy Cross, we got to see what we were told as a piece of cloth from the Holy Rob of Chirst. While our group are not big wine drinkers, we did enjoy the wine tasting as the person in charge made the experience entertaining, educational and fun. All in all a nice way to spend our time in Cyprus.

A very good tour to see Cyprus. It was a beautiful day & with a small group even made it better. We were picked up on time & provided with water. Our tour was on 10/06/25 at 8:30 a.m. We got to see all of the sights mentioned. It was not a long tour which was good. We returned back to the ship and very happy with our tour day. Great tour of Cyprus! There was a good mix of sites and activities including a castle tour, a very unique wine tasting (including a rare blue wine!), and a great visit to an archeological site as well. Our guide was pleasant, informative and we had a great time. Definitively recommend this tour!

This is a must do trip from the Limassol port. The bus was easy to find when exiting the ship. Our guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. We had a wonderful day. Our guide gave us so much history about the area, and it was very interesting! We went to Omados which is a cute town! We had a wonderful lunch there and then went on to the wine tasting. I'm so glad we booked this trip and not the one from the cruise ship.

This was a wonderful day tour, encompassing a wine tasting as well as several archeological sites. It was a beautiful drive and we got to see some of the countryside. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating to all of the participants, many of whom were older. The wine tasting was fun and informative. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to get out of the city, and meet some of the Cypriot people.

The trip around Limassol was excellent. Our guide was very easy to understand and was knowledgeable. The only downsize was having 20 of us in the van making it very squishy. The van was not in good condition.

We’d like to clarify that the minibus used is a 22-seater. On this tour, two families invited three friends they had met on the cruise who were also booked on the same excursion and they demanded last minute to ride together in the same van, which may have made the space feel tighter than usual but there were still two empty seats.

This was our first time in Cypress and we were very happy to be here and the tour we took with Spanos Buses was the cherry on top of the cake.
From the very detailed information given about how to meet our tour, to the very efficient driver Vasilis and guide Deva (if I remember correctly) it was a very enjoyable day.
This tour is a great mix of history, culture, sightseeing, wine tasting and free time
We had a few stops with lots of information given by our very knowledgeable and friendly guide, we went to a very quaint village, had a delicious wine tasting and even had some time in Limassol.
I would definitely recommend this tour if you are on a cruise ship. They will make sure you get back in plenty of time and you will not feel rushed.
