Tour tracks the origin and growth of Leeds through the centuries with a focus on its Victorian heritage. Along the way the tour iincludes information about the ambition and determination of certain individuals who made their mark reflected in many of the buildings we see today. Our guide Michele was first class and spoke with knowledge and pride of Leeds. Would definitely recommend this walking tour. Prepare to have your eyes opened.

Michele Thompson was our guide for the day and took us for a 2-hour walk around Leeds, enthusiastically detailing the historical significance of different locations and taking us back to Leeds in the Industrial Revolution with her vivid stories. I highly recommend this tour for anyone new to Leeds or looking to explore the city in a day

Very knowledgeable tour guide. A great way to see the highlights of Leeds if you are only there for one day. The tour is mostly dog friendly with only a couple of sites that you have to go around and wait to rejoin the tour.

Even though we have been to Leeds a number of time, the whole tour was great value and very interesting. Jenny, our guide, was very knowledgeable and gave us a great insight into the history of some of Leeds attractions. It did help a little that the weather was wonderful this weekend!

Sarah was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. She made the tour fun and she certainly included some children who were in our group keeping them interested. Having never been to Leeds before this tour is a MUST to bring the past alive. Some of those on our tour were from Leeds so I’m sure they now know a little bit more about the city in which they live. All in all excellent and great value for just over £20 for two hours.
