The tour guide in the Bus charged us extra to see the Colosseum, even though it was already included.
The tour guide was very rude.
Lots of walking with no breaks. The tour guide didn't even bother to look if everyone was there.
Never again doing a tour like this.
Everyone was complaining!

Only book this tour if you are comfortable with seeing the tourist attractions frm the outside. We only understood once we were on our way to Rome that we would NOT visit any of the attractions listed, we would only see them from the window of a bus, except for a quick stop and St Peter's square and a fast walk between the Colosseum and Fontana di Trevi. And one hour that we were let loose to explore the city and fend for ourselves to get back to the meeting point for the bus. (Note: we paid extra when we were in the bus to actually get off and see the Colosseum from the outside, and our meeting point was changed twice during our trip from the ship to Rome). A total rip off.

Highly recommend this tour. It is very fast paced and there is a lot of walking involved. If you would like to see Rome in a day without going into the vatican, etc. and just see the sites, this tour is for you. We were lucky enough to have visited Rome previously before so just going back to see the sites was perfect for us. We were on a cruise and our ship was docked overnight. The next day we went back on our own to go into St. Peter's Basilica.

Used this primarily as a transfer from port to rome, but was expecting to see at least one or two sights before hopping off to get to our hotel. We were happy to abandon the tour at the first stop.
The whole experience was horrible from start to thankful early end. From the overcrowded bus with constantly coughing passengers who refused to wear a mask or even cover their mouths to tour guides trying to upcharge for each experience, it was a nightmare. We got off the first stop, but if we had stuck with the tour it was a 10min walk to St Peter’s Square and 20min max stay. Colosseum was going to be a drive by and I think they were going to have 30min at Trevia fountain. It was cheaper than buying a transfer from the port, but not worth it at all.

On the way to Rome, we were asked if we wanted to rent ear phones at 10 Euros each. We had 3 in our group. As we were suppose to get on/off the bus at numerous locations, we thought that by being near the leader we would hear things. Her voice was so soft that she was hard to hear standing next to her. We missed 99% of was she said. Others with the ear phones could not hear much either. It was a national holiday so we could not get near the Vatican and other places we were looking forward to seeing. The bus could not get into locations, so we walked for a solid 6 hours. We were suppose to have 2 1 hour free times at sites but only got 30 minutes to eat and see the Trevi fountain because we had to walk everywhere. The national holiday had been planned long in advance and this tour should have been forthcoming with this information. I would have cancelled the tour if I knew what we had in store. My son has tremendous neuropathy pain in feet and legs and I booked this excursion thinking that there would be more opportunities to sit and rest. We were stuck walking. There were many other people who were in pain, tired, angry and disgusted. One woman's foot was bleeding. We were stuck walking because we did not know how to find the bus for the trip back to port. The guide walked very, very fast which was hard for many in the group. She did her best. We all should have been given free ear sets upfront as she was impossible to hear with 50+ people trailing her. Evidently, there was suppose to be another person following in rear but she left. I have taken many, many excursions during my life of travel and this was hands down the worst one. You should refund the money I paid for the 3 of us!!! I have never written a negative review in my life but this was the worst experience ever. We could not visit many of the sites, no free time, learned nothing of the history of Rome because we could not hear a word she spoke, hot, miserable, and painful walking. This was the excursion from HELL. Due to national holiday, the company should have given us a true description of this excursion and let the people decide to proceed or cancel.
