The drive from Kuala Lumpur to the first stop will take approximately 60 mins, right after that will take around 15min drive to Bukit Melawati to see silver leaf monkey. Lastly to the final stop, kampung Kuantan firefly park to witness the firefly with all the memories of twinkling fireflies, will take another 60 min drive approximately back to Kuala Lumpur city centre.

Viator let us down. We got back over an hour late, and our "tour guide" was strictly a driver. The monkeys were amazing, but all of the water activities were a joke. Other tour guides were on the boats with their groups and catering only to them, and in a language other than English. We had no idea what was going on during the eagle feeding, firefly tour or whatever the blue tears thing was supposed to be. $175 (including the optional activities for 2 people) is a rip off.

Fun tour with Adam - lots of variety

We had a wonderful evening tour with Adam. There were only 4 of us in a very comfortable, new 3-row vehicle. He told us a bit about the temple before we went in. He was wonderful with the adorable silver leaf monkeys. He made sure to get us the best spots on a smaller boat for the fireflies & blue tears. He even caught a firefly and put it in my hand. Such wonderful treatment from our guide!

Not recommended at all. The guy who picked me up was just a driver. The places to visit include the hindu temple (5 mins stop), a monkey place (10 mins), and a place where you can take a boat to see fireflies and blue water. Nothing is interested for me. You got no information about the places that you visited. I had to google them when I am back home.

Hi, we are so sorry about that you couldn’t see the fireflies much. We will definitely take this matter in hands to provide better service. As for the blue tears/ bioluminescence is not a part of this tour package but it’s an optional for our customers to opt in if wished to opt in.

Sanjev was our guide. He was so lovely. He told us about the history of the temple, monkeys and fireflies. We got to feed the monkeys and they were wild and they were use to him , even the female monkey with her newborn , came and had food from us. I would highly recommend Sanev to ne your tour guide.

Great tour - better organisation would make it better

This is a nice tour, especially the interactions with the monkeys. One thing that probably could be done better is to have everyone on the tour with the same activities - not a great experience when some are allowed to participate in some activities while others are not. Also if there are many pick ups required the organisers should plan better to ensure everyone is picked up rather than asking some participants to find their way to a different location. Otherwise overall not a bad tour.

LG was my driver guide he arrived in time. Explained everything and told the group a lot about the area, history, culture and religions. He was very interesting. At the Silver leaf monkeys he organised food and for the monkeys to sit on our shoulders. He also took photos and sent them to us on What’s app which was really lovely. He is a safe driver. He was polite and very pleasant and also helpful. I really enjoyed this whole tour. The fire flies were so pretty and it felt like Christmas. The blue plankton was magical and soo amazing but the best part was definitely the silver leaf monkeys and the little brown monkeys they were quite well behaved. It was a fantastic experience thank you

Wow where do we start! We were travelling with our 5 and 7 year old daughters. We were collected from our hotel by Sanjeev in a very comfortable and fancy car. He explained the itinerary and answered all of our questions. We spoke about how the kids were obsessed with nature, especially reptiles and from then on Sanjeev gave us great tips and stories keeping the girls gripped throughout the tour. We visited a temple, met the silver leaf monkeys (adorable), had a delicious seafood dinner and of course enjoyed the fireflies. The fireflies themselves were magical and Sanjeev even caught some for the kids to see up close. It was so magical just like a forest full of glimmering Christmas lights. The boat ride was super fast and fun too! Honestly though Sanjeev really made the experience what is was. Thank you so much x

We had a lovely time on this tour. Nathan is such a nice man and a very good driver. My highlight was meeting the monkeys. We then had dinner at our expense on the riverfront with lots of restaurant options. Then an exhilarating longboat ride took us down river to view fireflies and bioluminescence which was very different! I would highly recommend this tour. Thankyou

I enjoyed this tour. The vehicle used for the tour was very spacious and comfortable (individual seats with armrest, cup holder, and it reclines) with Netflix, too! The tour starts with a Hindu temple, followed by the silver leaf monkeys. I was nervous to go near them, but Sanjev (the tour guide) showed me some tips on how to safely interact with the monkeys and I managed to get in some good photos. The firefly tour is next (I didn’t go for the optional extras) and was also a cool experience. I think you’re unlikely to see masses of fireflies but we were able to briefly catch a few to see them up close. It’s really helpful that the tour picks you up and drops you off from your hotel, and Sanjev is friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

Steven, our driver and guide, was very kind and kind throughout this tour. He picked us up and took us back to the place of our choice in KL. Very comfortable vehicle with water bottles, plugs to charge mobile phones... The temple in the middle of nature was beautiful. Feeding monkeys was great fun but be careful: feed only black monkeys and not chestnuts which can be more aggressive. Finally, the river cruise to observe fireflies: magical...
