- If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang.
- On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel a tour, we will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund
- Passengers can carry personal luggage on car and/or boat up to a maximum total permitted weight must not exceed 20 kilograms (twenty kilograms) per person.
- If a passenger wishes to carry other luggage on car and/or boat more than the specified weight, Passengers must pay for the next piece of baggage at 200 baht each.
- If you select the 9:30 AM departure, your transfer will be by minivan and speedboat, arriving at Maenam Pier on Koh Samui.
- If you select the 8:00 AM or 11:30 AM departure, your transfer will be by bus/coach and catamaran, arriving at Nathon Pier on Koh Samui.

The vans, the bus, and boat were comfortable which made the trip enjoyable as the scenery past by. The transfer option once I reached the island was seamless and delivered me exactly where I needed to be. The big bus and the boat both had restroom facilities. My time on the island was too limited per my planning and I suggest a longer stay. Personal we’re all very friendly and helpful.

It'll get you there, but it's not well put together. We got picked up at the hotel and it was 45min in a van to the Lomprayah bus depot. Once out of the shuttle you check in with your bags and put color coded stickers on you/your luggage for what island you're going to. No one tells you what bus to get on, but we managed to find ours. Your bags are thrown on the double decker bus and then it's a 2hr ride to the Lomprayah Pier. There's a tiny closet of a toilet on the bus if you need it. The aircon was OK, no place to charge your phone. Bring headphones because everyone listens to their phones on full blast. At the Pier, it was an absolute sh*tshow. The weather wasn't great so the boat came back late which caused us to be late. Hundreds of people were milling around the waiting area. There's a small snack mart and a little Cafe, but with basic offerings like chips, nuts, cookies, some drinks, and instant noodles. There's a sign that says one 20kg bag per person, but no one checked if you had more. We tried to pay for ours but just got yelled at in Thai. No one really speaks English which is fine because of Google translate, but it was very chaotic. Passengers spoke different languages but broken English was common amongst most and it would've helped if the staff spoke English and made an announcement as to why we were late. They were trying to say the sea was very rough. We wee supposed to Depart at 230 but we're delayed til 3. We didn't get on til 4. When it was time to get on, there were no lines, just a mad rush of 200+ people trying to get on. People got on the boat and sat down with bags on seats and then it was the Hunger Games trying to find a seat. If you get motion sick AT ALL, or even think you might, sit towards the back near a window. You feel the motion less towards the back. DO NOT SIT IN THE MIDDLE. Also, don't eat before the trip. You will throw it back up. The crew handed out small black plastic garbage bags before we even left the pier. We left the Pier at 415 (1h15 late). About 30min into the ride, everyone was throwing up. You can stand outside at the back of the boat if you want, but all of the smokers go outside and smoke so keep that in mind. It may be better than being enclosed with people hurling their guts out. We finally arrived in Koh Samui at 615. The staff got everyone's bags off before letting people off, but it was probably better that way. All in all, you got from A to B but it was a mess from start to finish. Bring water and snacks, prepare for seasickness, sit towards the back, and hold on.

Please note whilst the transfer is fine, the price Viator is showing is double the local price per the poster I have attached. Would be better to pay locally. Also has to pay extra 535 THB for transfer from our Krabi hotel before 4pm or risk them cancelling our trip. Responsiveness very slow regarding confirmation of pick up.
Boat is fine, all worked out in the end.

Just don’t do it. We were late booking to fly to koi samui because we were debating whether to fly or not and the flight became booked. We made this mistake so you do not have to. THERE IS NO TOILET ON BOARD. The staff are lovely but you are squished into a tiny smelly van like sardines for three hours. The suspension is awful. After 2 hours there is a services where you can use the toilet (not nice). You are then dropped at the ferry port. The ferry is chill. It’s two hours. It’s all a bit hectic. If you’re thinking of going from krabi to koi samui - fly!

It was very well organized and very much on time. The bus was quite old but the drive was pleasant. We got very quickly our suitcases at the end and even vlosed a transport from the pier to our hotel via the company.

I booked a couple of months in advance so I was a little nervous about the arrangements made but the day before travel I received an email confirming travel and hotel pick up. On day of travel we were picked up within 15 minutes of scheduled time.. very nice van ride with other clients to ferry and ferry across to island. Everything went smoothly.

Very easy process. Picked up right on time at our hotel and transferred to the bus terminal. We rode across the country in a double decker that was air conditioned. Upon arrival at the ferry we quickly boarded and reached Koh Samui at the time provided.

I was tentative about booking this because of the mixed reviews. I'm so glad I decided to ignore them and book. This was end to end hassle free. We were collected from our Ao Nang Hotel around 7.20am (pick up time from 7am so a reasonable amount of wait time). The minivan driver was polite and took us to the bus terminal. Bus check in queue was long but efficient and moved quickly. Bus was a little tired and bumpy but absolutely fine as a journey. The ferry was fast and comfortable
I would highly reccomend this as a way to get from Krabi to Koh Samui - excellent value for money.

Extremely rude staffs! Staffs were behaving as if they were doing us a big favour. This type of behaviour might fly in a charitable scenario BUT not when you are being charged heavily for the supposedly good services!
Just take a flight and avoid these Lomprayah Jokers!

The bud ride was less than perfect as the suspension was not adequate and when it hit a bump in the road it would’ve slam making a loud noise in the bud. The catamaran was on time and fast but the seats need to be replaced.

The bus used for the three hour trip to the high speed catamaran was late and very dirty. The catamarans engine broke down about 30 minutes into the trip so added another hour to our commute to resort

Everything went as they described on their page, they picked us up and took us to the bus. The bus ride was relaxing, and the ferry ride was good but needed some chairs in the sun on the deck.

Initially when I booked I was sent an email saying the initial pick up time was wrong, and should read 10am instead of 11am. But the pick up was in fact 11am. So I was waiting for an hour for no reason. This should have been better organised. The air con on the coach was poor, a number of hours on the coach where it was too hot.
A smooth transition onto from coach to ferry was good.

At first we were skeptical that buying the ticket would work because we had already tried twice on another well-known website and it did not work. Even after receiving email confirmation from Viator, we were still skeptical because our ticket included pick-up at our hotel. I preferred to believe it would work. The trip was scheduled for the next day and the driver would pass at 10:00 AM to pick us up. The agreed time passed, so I called the agency. With a little difficulty understanding the agents' English and being able to explain the facts in a way that they understood, we were able, in the end, to confirm that everything was ok and that the driver was already on his way. He had to collect more people from other hotels before coming to us (this was not clear on the website thought!). We were taken to the Lomprayah office in a van, got registered, received identification stickers, and waited for another group to arrive with another van so the bus could start the journey. The bus trip took a while because I have the impression that the maximum speed is 80km per hour. They offer coffee for you there. On the ferry, many people got sea sickness because the trip is on the open sea. (Tip: close your eyes and take deeper breaths to avoid sea sickness). When we arrived on the ferry, they separated the large suitcases from the backpacks and we didn't know if we would find our suitcase among so much luggage when leaving the ferry. As there are a lot of people, it may seem confusing, but they dropped our bags off and everything worked well.

The bus is a mini van, very very cramped (one bag per person max would have been fine) but otherwise pleasant. The ferry was also good. Arrived early.

A total rip off. The driver never picked me up at my hotel. I had to re-book with another company. Would not use Viator again. Bad sub contractors and can’t get ahold of anyone to fix the problem.

I was unable to contact local operator the day before and even Viator couldn't reach them. I had to assume the original time given was right but at 4am I got an email that pickup time was 1 hour earlier. We had to really scramble to get ready.
When driver picked us up he gave us a really hard time about amount of luggage. We only had 2 pieces each.
Driver was very grouchy and wondered all over the road.
On positive side, all arrangements were in order and we got to Koh Samui as planned.

well organized trip - the bus is actually a minivan and this should be made clear in the trip details as to manage people's expectations; our minivan was packed with people and bags, it felt like we were sardines, had no place to move legs as bags and luggages was squeezed inside the van besides people's feet. Another concern, the driver was a lot on the phone, not just taking on the headphones, but checking his phone , looking at pics and stuff. Quite scary experience given that he's responsible for a van packed with people...

The ferry was cancelled due to weather (not their fault obviously) however even knowing it was cancelled they took us by boat to the pier and left us stranded to have to find new accommodation/taxi fares etc until the boat could go 2 days later! They should have let us stay in Krabi then bring us when the boat could go again!

Packed in people and bags in a mini van without aircondition, really hot and tight. When we needed to go to toilet the driver just stopped at the roadside without even saying anything, no toilet or anything around. Changed buss 3 times, when we stopped someone just opens the door yelling at us “get out”. No explanation what is happening. Would not recommend this trip to anyone.

First we had to take us to a different hotel than we actually lived in. Because that was the only place they could pick us up at. Then we went with a mini bus for about 10 minutes before being dropped of to change to another mini bus. This part of the journey was the worst. No one could move or stretch out their legs because they packed the bus so full with all ours luggage. They would not order another bus, so we sat with some of our luggages on us. We had to travel like this for about 2 hours and under this time the driver stopped several times to buy himself food and soda. Then he stopped 4 times to drop the passenger of at different places. Finally we got to the bus and this one took us to the ferry. It took more than 6 hours before we finally got to Koh Samui. Recommend everyone to choose a different company! Only gives it 2 stars because it brought us to the right destination in the end.

Tout a été parfait…… sauf le transport de mon hôtel au ferry .. incapable de joindre personne car le transporteur a eu 30 minutes de retard ce qui a fait qu’on a couru pour embarquer sur le ferry donc l’expérience a mal débutée.. la caravane était remplie avec tous les bagages et tous les autres voyageurs faire 2h30 de caravane sur un petit siège derrière a été difficile. par contre sur le ferry on ne manque de rien petit bistrot café sandwich poulet frit on a le temps de se reposer. je recommande
