Not worth the roll of the dice

This is a tale of 2 journeys. We worked with this tour operator to take a car from Phuket to Krabi and then from Krabi back to Phuket airport. The experience from Phuket to Krabi was 5 stars. The driver drove cautiously and it was a comfortable journey. The return on the other hand was a nightmare. The driver often traveled at 2x the speed limit, tailgated cars, and passed on curves - all in the dead of night. For 2 hours, I was white knuckled. An atrocious experience. I get it, Thailand has different driving standards than the US but when you are servicing western visitors, you have to adjust.
