Good Shore Excursion From Port

Personal driver for the day in good quality air conditioned vehicle. Managed our time and visits well mindful we were on cruise ship so - shore excursion. Managed to see all we wanted (even though we were later than expected - due to sea tender). Bottled water provided. Driver was very good. Would recommend as great value for money.

Great value private tour

Great value private tour which took us all around the island seeing everything we wanted to and more. Our driver met us at Nathon Pier off our cruise ship and dropped us back safely in good time. He provided us with lots of helpful information and was extremely courteous throughout

We were really looking forward to our tour of the Island,the Waterfall had been recommended so we asked our driver who spoke very little English aside from telling us how hard he works and such long hours.He dropped us off at "the waterfall" looked pretty derelict,we started to walk up a very uneven path climbing over boulders, kept saying to my husband this doesnt seem right, there was v little water, come down after 2 hours covered in insect bites, asked driver to take us to a beautiful cove, he took us to a small commercial beach.We were at dinner later and speaking to friends who had also been to the waterfall, showed us photos of a really lovely flowing waterfall?Disappointed our driver did not advise there were 2 waterfalls,seems he took us to a place so he could sleep in his car for 2 hours.

Driver waited for a hour and a half as our cruise ship slowly tendered people to shore. Our 4 hour tour was cut very short but he did the most he could with the time left. Beautiful island Koh Samui.

Well worth the trip. Saw a great deal in the 4 hour trip booked. Only draw back was difficulty in understanding our driver’s English. But we got by.

Driver was very polite and friendly. He worked with us on the tour itinerary and even was willing to take us to The Four Seasons for lunch but unfortunately it was fully booked. He suggested a very good restaurant near the dock which was excellent.

Great sightseeing but little explanation of what we were seeing.

Although our driver delivered us to each site efficiently, there was little interaction and communication about what we were seeing. I think the most he said was "I park here, you walk there". There were so many great places that he took us to but we just felt under informed about what we were viewing. I also noticed that some who picked up tours at the port entrance got tours with a guide. I think we would have been better doing this.

Our driver was Nu. He was very nice and took us to all of the main sights we wanted to see. The only negative was the language barrier. Other than that it was worth the experience and price.

Fantastic Island Half Day Tour

It was a great island tour, seeing some fantastic sights along the way. Our driver Hoi was excellent (and a brilliant driver) taking us to see some amazing sights. We even got the chance to do a Zip Line, which was scary but exhilarating! I would definitely recommend this tour 100%

Guide was just a driver, dropped as 2 temples without saying anything about them. We told him to just return us to the port. Even if he had said anything it is unlikely we would have understood

Be prepared with your list of desired sights and the driver will figure out the best route. Do your own research on the history of the sights because the driver is not a tour guide. The driver understood English but does not speak well enough to augment information signs.

Very disappointing, driver was mearly just a driver and not a tour guide, luckily we had an idea of where to go. He didn’t recommend anywhere for us to visit and actually ended up dropping us off an hour earlier than expected. Would not recommend this activity at all.

The tour was canceled without notice. After waiting and a text from our side where the driver was, they told us it was canceled. No reaction about the refund of money.

Tropical Adventure with Great Guide.

Old was a very good tour guide. This was a true tropical island adventure. We went to the Elephant rescue and fed the rescued female elephants. That was a thrill and highlight. We visited the mummified priest, who is sitting in a glass enclosure. We went to a lookout point and visited a waterfall. We saw the giant Buddha and did a little bit of shopping and even had yummy ice cream. It was a wonderful tour.

Not worth booking.., overpriced. Guide was not a guide, only a driver, English almost non existent. Asked where we want to go. Didn’t have an itinerary for the tour. No water supplied, had to buy our own.

You provided misleading information in your ad. You indicated a guide but what we got was a driver who could barely speak English. Don't want to knock the driver as he was very friendly, but this experience would have be way better if he could have explained the sights to us. Viator, you should change your ad to read driver not a guide.
