The sanctuary is lovely and the tour is overall well structured. A few thing to mention though: the whole tour from the moment you get picked up till you are dropped off is 5h, not 3. If you are staying in the north of Koh Samui, you are 1h away from the sanctuary. The pick up car was an open truck (no AC, you are in the heat for 1h straight)- itโs exhausting, especially during the heat peak (you get picked up at 1pm).

Regarding the duration and travel time, we understand your point. Travel times on Koh Samui can vary depending on location and traffic conditions, and guests staying in the north may have a longer journey.
Our type of transport depends on the pick-up locations scheduled for that day. In many cases, we need to collect guests staying at hillside villas, so a 4ร4 vehicle is required to access those areas safely. (Safari style)

We had such a great time with the elephants! They were incredibly sweet and gentle. We got to prepare food for them, feed them plenty, and even help bathe them, which was such a special experience. It was amazing to see them roaming freely in a large, open space.
We also appreciated seeing the many certifications they have showing their commitment to proper elephant care. Itโs inspiring that they hope to build an elephant hospital in the future once they have enough funding.
I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the island. Thank you for such a memorable experienceโweโll never forget it!

Strongly recommend this tour. Had acgreat time feeding and interacting with multiple elephants in their natural habitat. Guides were knowledgeable, informative and professional. Sad hearing the back stories of the elephants, but happy they have been rescued. The tour waited for use past the start time while we got tendered from our cruise ship. Princess Cruise Line, prioritized elite passengers and people with ship excursions over passengers who privately booked tours.

It's quite hands on albeit not all of a total of 9 elephants can be touched. U make food & feed them. Drivers to/from hotel were very good. Beverages & a substantial snack was also included.

We had an excellent 3hr experience where we prepared some food for the elephants, fed one, saw eight others then walked to a field and watched the elephants eat. We then watched an elephant, close up, have some fun time in a pool.
A simple but nice meal was provided along with water, orange juice, tea/coffee.
The staff were very informative, polite and answered all the questions asked. We were all provided, via email, with a short video our time with the elephants. It was clear the elephants were well cared for and the staff were dedicated to them.
Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience!! From contact as soon as we had booked, to maps of exactly where to meet the driver, who was very helpful. The Team at the sanctuary were knowledgeable and the elephants were amazing. To see them in their natural habitat and thriving, after hearing some awful stories of their past, was definitely worth the trip. From learning about the individual elephants and how they are being looked after, to making their food, feeding them, seeing them in the jungle, and enjoying a mud and water bath! Value for money and definitely worth doing when in Koh Samui.

Absolutely amazing experience visiting the elephant sanctuary with my two year old daughter. She loved making the elephantโs breakfast and feeding them, and we were able to ride in a jeep through the jungle. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they also took great pics and videos. Highly recommend this activity for everyone - the highlight of our trip so far!

This was one of my favorite tours of my trip.
One of the best experiences of my life. It was a great experience to learned about the elephants and how they were rescued. Preparing the food and feeding them was so great. We also got to walk around their habitat and watch them enjoy nature. After spending an afternoon with the elephants, I am even more in love with these gentle giants !! I definitely recommend this tour to any animal lover.!!

Absolutely amazing experience and can feel the love and passion for the elephants from the staff. It was so fun to make snacks for the elephants and feed them. Roaming the fields with them was heartwarming amd knowing they are free and so well takwn care of after being mistreared in their previous years. Delicious food and drinks are served as well.

Be prepared to go up close with elephants. The guides are very nice and informative. They were all very helpful and made the experience so good.

I would give this tour 10 stars! This was by FAR THE BEST tour thus far and itโs only day two of my trip! The communications from booking to pick up from the pier all the way to the elephant sanctuary was phenomenal!
I was looking for an elephant sanctuary tour that picked us up from the pier, where didnโt take up all day yet we spent quality time with the elephants. And THIS WAS IT!
Once I booked the tour, I received a message on WhatsApp within minutes stating directions and communications if needed. Which was amazing! The agent even sent PHOTOS detailing a map, directing where to meet up on the pier, Which I absolutely loved! Once we docked, we walked down to the pier, someone was holding a sign with our family name and directed us to a VERY NICE comfortable van, with other families as well. It was about a 30 minute ride to the elephant sanctuary. Once Exiting the van, the tour sat us at tables where we each family had their own area to make the elephant food and the presenter spoke about the history of the sanctuary. then we were guided over to the feeding area where the elephants were waiting for us to feed them. It was a spectacular experience. Then we were handed hats, a tote bag with water and off into the โjungleโ we go - large piece of land to view the elephants in their natural habitat. It was a Short 5-10 minute walk and We were able to take pictures with the elephants from afar! We then walked back to the main site where we were served a delicious lunch. Fried rice, spring rolls, mini cheese sandwiches, and watermelons. It was the BEST fried rice Iโve had thus far! After lunch, there was one last elephant encounter where they brought the elephants to the small pool area and we were able to view the elephant playing in the water. We then boarded the van and headed back to the ships pier. We even had enough time to walk around the markets near the port and headed back to the ships pier!
I would recommend this tour! 10/10

Amazing experience getting to know the elephants at the sanctuary. The staff did an awesome job educating us about the elephants, especially on how and who we could interact with. Opportunity of a lifetime!
Our tour included pickup and drop off from our hotel in Chaweng, making a snack and feeding it to the elephants, going on a walkabout with the elephants through the jungle, lunch which consisted of fresh guava juice, iced coffee, fried rice, fried spring rolls, finger sandwiches, fresh watermelon, and plenty of water. And watching the elephants take a bath.
The staff was so warm and welcoming. They definitely take pride in providing a safe and happy home for the elephants.
Would recommend this experience to anyone.
