Very intimate group, we went to pig island, had a lovely lunch that was included. Hawa our guide was lovely too.

This excursion should have been cancelled for safety reasons. The first boat trip was terrifying, and all the passengers thought we would flip. They call this a snorkeling trip, yet do not even provide fins (flippers). In the afternoon trip the sea is too low to snorkel without kicking the coral. Pig Island is a gross tourist trap. There is feces everywhere. Including mouse’s feces in the food brought to me. The boat trip back was also scary. One of the men helping to get out boat out from pig island even said the me “don’t worry about me, worry about you”. I was so concerned we would flip in the wind going back. The guide ignored us the entire time. The way too and from the boat from the “pier” is steep and unsafe. Do not go on this tour.

Hi I’m sorry that you feel this trip was not worth it however I feel it’s unfair to give a one star as most of your comments are to do with things out of my control I.e weather, tides and pig island.
Firstly the reason NO tour operators will give fins is because of damage to the reef/coral
The boat captain will not leave if the sea is too dangerous, more than once we have sent speed boats to bring back customers if the weather changes and becomes to rough/ dangerous. I’ve had no complaints of any of the other customers. I’ve spoke with your guide that day who tells me she informed you not to get close to the coral but you did and she had to help clean you up. As for mouses feces in your food my staff informs me that you ate all your food and everyone said the food was great. My staff as you would have seen takes pictures and she has pictures of you with an empty plate. Do you have any photos you could share with me ?
My guides do not ignore anybody and as you can see from previous reviews she’s very attentive. I’ve also messaged all the other customers that day and have their comments none of which are bad or like yours.

This is a great half day trip, we were fortunate to be the only group to have booked so it was a private excursion for us. Would recommend taking this trip in the morning as it was quite quiet at the snorkelling site, so many fish to see, one of the party stayed on the long tail boat with a small child who fed the fish over the edge & it was amazing there were so many beautiful fish to see & the fish & coral for snorkelling are very good.. Pig Island is great, especially for children, the lunch on Pig Island was very good. All in all this is a great trip & would say it is a “must do” while in Koh Samui.

The trip was 2x more expensive compared to trips which you can get from local people. This tour did not have transfer, the others do. Simply find accomondation or hotel nearby and ask there. There was no towel neither GoPro photo/video included nor provided. Do not book this one! The experience itself was great.

Most other companies go by speed boat so can get more customers 30-35 I only take 10 pax per wooden longtail boat maximum.
I can’t comment on you not having a towel as I wasn’t there but I have contacted my staff, I have never known this happen.
Did you ask my staff for the photos/pictures ?
Did you give her your email address so we can send it too you ?
Please contact me on WhatsApp and send me pictures so I can see if anyone else didn’t have towels.
We spoke on WhatsApp I gave you 3 transfer options.
You arranged your own way too the pier and messed me you were going to be late.

She informs me you were late and our boat had left so to help and at no extra cost they put you on another company speed boat
Please confirm if this is true ?
If not send pictures off my wooden longtail boat.
That’s why no towels or pictures/videos
Please don’t say I’m lying without evidence like I have

Lovely experience, super friendly guide , lots of local knowledge, helped us with getting a taxi. Island is very pretty and pigs and dogs are super cute ☺️ 🐖

The good part was that the tour operator managed to organise the transport for me from North part of Koh Samui.
The snorkeling was also nice as I got to see lotd of fishes.
The tour guide that was with us on the day barely spoke to us and didn't tell us anything about the places where we stoped.
The boat ride was also very choppy and all of us got soaked before even going into water. The boat driver should be more careful instead of speeding.
The pigs at the island were lovely and the island itself is great. The main issue is the upkeep, my understanding is that each visitor pays a maintenance admission but I don't think the money is being well spend and rather it's going to someone pocket.
The tour guide at the end of the tour just left us and told us that our transport is coming. I think that was very unprofessional and she should of waited with us as the driver that come to drive us back was different driver and didn't speak English.

Hi have just returned from my holiday.
Do you remember the name of your guide that day please ? Unfortunately as you probably know we don’t own or manage the island but I agree they could do more and recently now it’s not so busy they are dealing with most the issues.
My staff is only there to help and be a guide . I only help our customers to organize or advise the cheapest but best way to do the transfers I’m sorry the driver didn’t speak English

Was disappointed with the snorkelling as the water wasn’t clear where we stopped and there was some sharp coral.. not sure if this was a one off as they said they couldn’t stop where they usually do as the sea was too rough that day. Pig island however is well worth a visit just to see the pigs roaming the island and the food supplied whilst there was very tasty. The beaches were beautiful and clear waters so this made up for the snorkelling stop earlier. Be prepared for lots of tourists mind and it was really busy as multiple tours are there at the same time.

Really enjoyable day - so many pigs to see, pet and feed. Stop off for snorkelling was enjoyable but the highlight was being around so many pigs. You need to watch your feet and where you’re walking (only so that you don't bump into them!). Lunch was plentiful but average but that wasn’t why we went.
The only downside of the trip was that we had to wade out into the sea to get into the boat and the sea floor was rocky. As a consequence, I cut and bruised my feet and really struggled to get aboard the boat. Fortunately we were able to use the jetty when we arrived back

Nice guide and host. Beautiful island. Pigs were fun to see. It was my daughter's birthday and they brought a little cake for her to celebrate. Snorkeling site was little murky at low tide but had fun swimming and jumping off the long tail boat. Lunch was good, family style Thai dishes and a bar for cocktails. It was a great day for our family.

Unorganized, hardly no english. As good as no information from "guide"...throughout the whole trip.
Snorkeling equipment Bad, some broken and old and hard rubber on some goggles. Life vests, old with horrible smell of foul and stinging sweat.
The stop for snorkeling was way too short, by the time we got the equipment sprter out and fitted, the kids hab about another 5 min time :(((!!!
I wasnt able to snorkel at all, cause in the end, nothing fotted.
The "guide" was not helpfull at all and unfriendly on top. Said in a harsh way, well they fitted everybody elese...
All in all never again
Stilö in contact woth them to maybe get some money back

Claire as I've said in our conversations, I'm sorry you did not enjoy your trip however there were another 8 guests on the tour with you and I've also spoke with them, and it seems its only you that had a bad experience. I'm confused about the snorkeling equipment as you even confirmed that my unfriendly staff as you put it gave your 2 children bran new masks and snorkel out of box, so yet again only you who out of 15 sets could not find one to fit. Lastly my staff who if you read the previous reviews is so friendly and helpful and who lived in England for 5 years and who's English in my option is more than good.

it was a good day out ! our host ICE made sure that we had an amazing time however the day snorkeling spot was a bit muddy and was very difficult to see inside .and also would have been perfect if there was a 2nd spot for snorkeling. rest all it was worth it .

Snorkelling was incredible! The reef is beautiful and very alive with marine life. Boom was a fantastic guide and we had a great time. Pig island was very odd.

I am giving this a rating of 3/5 because it was not really worth the money or time.
Pig island was very gross and run down, the snorkeling wasn’t really worth anything, terrible water and full of debris. Lastly, the staff was great to communicate with — it has nothing to do with workers, just not worth the money.

Everyone was friendly on this tour. From staff to other guests to pigs on the island. It's really a nice little trip to experience a snorkeling spot, Pig Island and a long tail boat. No bad surprise though in our case the sun was not cooperating.

Trip was rubbish. Poor communication, literally a shake down for extra cash when you arrive at the beach, terrible snorkeling with 20+ other boats in close proximity at a dead reef, and a lunch that will make you sick a couple hours later. Pretty sure they are charging people to feed the pigs, which they then slaughter, and feed to the people. Talk about a circular economy… don’t waste your time with this operator and book a more reputable company and boat. 100% of the group (7 people) left unhappy. Look elsewhere.

We cab not do anything about number of people from other companies in the water. Your tour is a shared one and we only facilitate the boat rental. We have been made aware of the issues on pig island and made official complaint to the owners as this shouldn’t be happening. We are very sorry that this happened. We also can not control the visibility or quality of the reef.
Many of our customers enjoy the snorkelling and are also happy with the food. There is no pork served in the lunch.
Yet again we apologise for the inconvenience.

This was just so amazingly fun!!!!!!! Our guide, "Yankee" was a total pro and really knew how to keep everyone up and happy, took tons of photos and videos to share with the group, and gave us an amazing, sweet sunset on the way home. If you are a couple looking for some romance or just someone who wants a beautiful sunset, I highly suggest taking the afternoon trip as they go out of their way to give you the best sunset ride on the way back to land! The snorkelilng is fun - lots of fish and a bit of coral, but is not like you see if you go on a farther out sail, but let's face it - the best part of this trip (if you like pigs!) is Pig Island. You go out to this gorgeous island with a delightful beach and beautiful scenic views, have a great meal, and get to hang out with some of the islands pigs - we got to feed them watermelon! They are a hoot, just meandering about. Saw a super cute piglet, and loved going to the beach with the mama pig. Once she'd eaten she would snuffle against the sand them slide into it, giving herself a cool pool to lie in, and you could sit right next to her or give her a hug! I loved it - and the photo ops are off the scale. You'd be hard pressed to find a better Pig Island trip than this one - very professional with a total love for fun - and oh that sunset! This is where you can get that perfect shot of you or you and your partner or family up on the front of the longtail boat - right out of the travel guides!

awesome experience! The guide and Captain were excellent. Our communication was with the owner from the the get go. He is a professional. The goal is to create a memorable experience and they achieve that. Everyone was on point, on time and clockwork.
I would not even bother looking at any other excursion of this nature. Book with these guys! You will not go wrong.

I couldn't recommend this day trip highly enough! This trip took in two of the most beautiful islands near Koh Samui: Koh Tan and Koh Madsum. Both are perfect pockets of paradise, with stunning views and backdrops.
Our tour guide, Win, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us interesting facts all the way along. He was very keen to introduce us to as much Thai culture, knowledge and food as he possibly could in our time with him.
The pigs were beautiful, I loved them. But this tour was about so much more than just the pigs. Visiting the islands and snorkeling, Win educating us on all the little details I'd not otherwise have learned, plus a really lovely lunch, made it a very full day trip.
I have chronic pain and struggled a bit getting on and off the boat but Win and the captain, On, were both incredibly helpful and never once made me feel like a burden.
I was very impressed by the owners ethical approach to the tour. He was providing cucumbers to feed the pigs, out of his own profits, because he was concerned that the only option on the island was pringles. His concern for the pigs wellbeing was touching.
He also had a great respect for Thai culture, informing each of us as we stepped off the boat, not to step on the floral wreaths as they were considered sacred.
These are small but very important details that showed a great respect for Thai culture and the animals we interacted with.
Of all the day trips I took while visiting Thailand this one was, by far, the best.
Go for the pigs, they're adorable. But also go for the beautiful islands and all the thoughtful touches along the way.
I wouldn't hesitate to take this trip, or another run by this company, again.

9時30分頃に港から出発。
子供用のライフジャケットやゴーグルも貸していただけました。
20分程でタン島のビーチに到着し、1時間ほどシュノーケリングを体験。低学年の子どもたちは怖がっていましたが、波は穏やかで、次第になれて楽しんていました。ただし、魚はたくさんいましたが、ここの海は、サムイ島からのゴミが流れ着くのか、それほど綺麗ではなかったです。
その後、また20分程かけて豚島へ移動。
海はこちらのほうが、断然綺麗です。
遠浅なので、小さな子どもでも安心。
砂浜の砂は粗めですが、ゴミは無いです。幼稚園の娘は珊瑚のかけらや貝殻を集めていました。
昼食は子供用にフライドポテトやチキンナゲットを容易してくれて、有り難かったです。ただし、豚が寄ってきます。
豚島からの帰りに雨に降られ、なかなかスリリングな船旅でした。
しかし、船頭さんの操舵が上手で、波の間をすり抜けて行く感じで、それほど揺れなかったです。
ガイドのお姉さんも英語が達者で、子どもたちにも優しかったですよ。
子供たちは大満足だったようで、帰りたくないと言っていましたが、体力的には半日くらいがちょうど良かったです。

La experiencia fue cuánto menos desastrosa. Fuimos a hacer snorkel y la guía no nos indicaba nada, le tuvimos que pedir por favor los kit y todo. No había mar para ver nada por lo que nos llevaron a los 5 minutos a la pig island. De camino se estropeó el barco y estuvimos un rato a la deriva hasta que otro nos remolcó. Allí, eran las 10:30 y nos querían preparar la comida, por lo que le pedimos que fuera más tarde que no tenia sentido. La comida no estaba mal pero lo puso todo al sol y se llenó de moscas. No recomiendo comer allí. A la hora ya debieron arreglar el barco y nos fuimos de vuelta. Al principio nos dijeron que llegaríamos a las 17:00 pero nos dejaron de nuevo a las 13:00, por lo que fueron 3 horas y media solo.

We are very sorry that your experience was not as expected. Our captain said to apologise to you that the boat broke down they did the best to get it fixed as soon as they could but this was an accident that no one could foreseen. This was first time something like this happened to us. Our guide explained that it was raining last couple of days and that the sea wasn't in best condition for snorkelling. We can not do anything about the weather sadly most days are great but it can happen that the weather circumstances aren't always the best. We tried our best so that you have the best possible time on your experience and can't apologise enough for the disappointment. Your ticket explains that your tour starts at 9:30 and ends at 1:30 it must have been a misunderstanding all our trips are 4 hours long. Yet again we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
