You may know how to roast coffee, but can you make your own latte art? Learn how to steam milk and pull espresso shots like a real barista during this small-group, half-day workshop in Kigali. Head to one of the city’s trendiest coffee shops—which doubles as a coffee training academy—and get hands-on instruction in preparing and decorating your coffee with artistic patterns.

Had such a great time doing their coffee masterclass that I came back a few days later to learn how to do latte art.
The instructor started off with the specifics of single, double and lungo shots and then showed us how to use a professional espresso machine (la marzocco). Once you get the hang on how to properly foam your milk, the art starts. Not going to lie: latte art is difficult! However, the instructor was super patient and great at giving pointers on how I need to hold the cup and the milk jug.
Can't wait to get back home and perfect my technique and start doing more difficult designs! ☕️
