This is a pleasant, informative walk through part of Old Key West. Our guide, Scott, was knowledgeable and entertaining.

Lovely slow paced walk through charming Old Town Key West! Lots of interesting anecdotes about the many creative individuals who have lived here. The Guide was fun and full facts!

Guide was very informative! He said he would send us some info, I'll enjoy revisiting the memory from that.
Lots of Key West history that I wouldn't have known otherwise.

I knew some of the famous literary figures who have lived on Key West, but I learned there were so many more! Scott, our guide, was well informed and presented pleasantly and professionally.

Fantastic, personable tour guide balanced thorough meander of homes of past/current writers (while respecting their privacy) and reciting snippets of their work. 10/10, no notes as they say

Our guide did not take into consideration that those of us over 75 could not keep up with his fast paced walk.
Response from Host, Feb 2023
We're sorry you weren't able to keep up with the tour. As you can imagine, with up to 12 people on each tour, there has to be some give and take when it comes to the speed of the tour. We do our best to accommodate all participants, so that each can get the most enjoyment out of the tour. The tour itself is approximately one mile of total walking in 90 minutes. Thank you for your feedback.

Scott was a great guide! I really appreciate the emailed links for more information on the authors we discussed.

The tour was packed with information, from the serious to the amusing. We took the tour our first morning in Key West, and it also proved to be a wonderful introduction to the major landmarks--and not-so-touristy--things to see in town. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour - Scott was the perfect tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about authors, poets, and other creative artists. Thank you for giving ideas of great books to read.

Sarah was very knowledgeable and also a great story teller. She made me feel as though I could see the authors in the Key West of their time. The history alone was worth the tour. Highly recommend this tour!

Sarah was terrific! This is the third time I have done this tour and she managed to keep it fresh and entertaining.

Our guide, 15 year resident of Key West was very knowledgeable about the authors and the background of their homes and lives. She had visual aides depicting the writers and recited several of
their quotes that added to the background of the tour.
Very informative and well presented.
Worth the time and the investment.
