Nadia was a great guide, she gave me the best history class I’ve had in a while, when going from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
She was entertaining and pleasant as well as patient.
Visited Christian, Muslim and Jewish places (wish it included a little more Jewish) but very well balanced overall.
Only recommendation would be adding a ear sound device with microphone for the guide so we can listen better in some of the crowded places.

Nadia was fantastic!! Extremely knowledgeable, fun, and energetic - she was extremely open to chat about the history (both past and present). This is one of the best tours we have been on! The bus was AC and comfortable and on time! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Nadia was amazing and not to mention, what a place and fascinating history! She just brought the entire history for us to see and experience.
It was just super worth it. I am glad I booked last minute.

Nadia was a great tour guide. She was informative, witty and helpful. We saw a ton of stuff in a day

Exceeds expectations thanks to Nadia!! Tour company was amazing. All information about what to expect and bring was provided prior as well as pick up location. Pickup was on time, driver was kind (I’m sorry I forget his name) van was very clean, comfortable and air conditioned. We chose this small boutique tour on purpose and it was well worth every penny. It was easy for Nadia to keep track of everyone, it was nice to get to know one another, everyone could surround Nadia easily to hear her stories and explanations.
The actual journey to Jerusalem was incredibly informative. Nadia gave a very comprehensive, easy to understand history lesson. Making sure we had the information that would ensure an even more memorable visit. The schedule was perfect and due to Nadia’s organization we were able to experience a few extra things, beyond the itinerary. Nadia’s explanations often included visual aids. The historical information provided outstanding, enlightening, past and present.
It was very special to walk through the different Quarters, and witness places so sacred to many, where people are able to co-exist peacefully, respectfully.
Nadia, thank you so much for making this trip so special. Your kindness, patience, sense of humour, knowledge and the way in which you presented everything, objectively, without judgement will stick with us forever.
There were a perfect amount of water and bathroom breaks, a quick stop for a snack and an organized lunch with a magnificent view.
We highly recommend this tour!!!

Hi Marnie,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review and great to read you had a wonderful experience with Nadia..

The Tour Guide, Nadia, was very knowledgeable on the 3 main faiths and the significance of Jerusalem to them. She was friendly, caring, humorous and punctual. There were no negative surprises. The luncheon was good. She made sure we had plenty of opportunities to stop to use the toilet and take a coffee break as well as prepare us to cover up in the Islamic area. This was our best and most significant tour in Israel. My dream of seeing Jerusalem has come true. In fact, my husband and I were saying we could’ve spent a day or two more here.

Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. It made a big difference for my experience. Without her, a lot of places will just be walls to me. I’ll have a hard time understanding the significance of the holy sites.

I am happy to know you enjoyed the tour, thank you!

Would highly recommend this tour! Was a far more authentic, more enjoyable experience than what some of my friends had on other larger tours.

Efrat was a great tour guide who provided lots of interesting insights. I enjoyed sticking to the sites rather than stopping at gift shops (like many other tours). I would highly recommend the tour to others.

Wonderful, fun, and educational tour. Our guide Gabi, was extremely well versed and humorously entertaining. Tip: definitely bring a water bottle, comfortable shoes, and an open curiosity.
Julia_D, Apr 2023
I booked to go on this tour with my mother. It was our first time visiting Israel. There was so much to see! We were picked up in a mini van, which was very comfortable. The drive to and from Jerusalem went very smooth thanks to our driver Tony, whom was very patient. In the van we were offered water and coffee. Our tour guide, Itai was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very fun. We had a wonderful view of Jerusalem and the dome of the rock from the top of a mountain. I also enjoyed the wailing wall, cafe, and restaurant that we were taken to. There is definitely a lot of walking so if you plan on going, I highly recommend you bring comfortable shoes. It was definitely a memorable experience. Would highly recommend!

Great Tour! I enjoy everything about it. Frank is very knowledgeable about everything in Jerusalem. What I liked the must is the way he told the history of it in a way that makes it to be so fund which makes it easy to understand and remember. Great experience! I recommend it to everybody.
Carla_H, Mar 2023
Love Jerusalem! Have previously toured with large groups. Decided to try this boutique tour and loved the intimacy of a smaller group. Great conversations and opportunities to chat and get to know others. Our driver and guide Frank were both kind and professional. Highly recommend.
Adrian_P, Feb 2023
The tour was very well organized and the tour guide gave plenty of relevant information. We visited all highlights of Jerusalem except the Mount Rock because it was Friday and it's closed to general public visits.
Toni_F, Feb 2023
The Tour was Amazing! Exceeded my expectations. Frank, and Cactus were so engaging so funny. They were excellent. I highly recommend this tour. Ask to have Frank as your tour guide and get ready for a wonderful journey
Natasha_H, Jan 2023
Loved this tour. So much history. Small intimate group. Not too intense or long. Really enjoyed this.
Nikesh_P, Jan 2023
Very enjoyable! Great information and flow for someone who wants the highlights of Jerusalem (and not too much of the religious part). Beers were on the ready for a melo ride back after lots of walking.
Cameron_M, Dec 2022
Nadia was an amazing tour guide and explained so much of the history of the area! The tour is fast-paced because there is so much to squeeze into the day! We were able to tour all of the major sites of the area, and they were amazing! The day concluded with an ice cold beer! :)
craig_k, Dec 2022
Frank, our tour guide, was incredibly well informed with historical and tourism related information as well as being really personable.
David_H, Nov 2022
Frank was an amazing guide. Knowledgeable and entertaining, the day just flew by. Shuttle service between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem was smooth. I would absolutely use them again.
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Hi David,
Great to hear you enjoyed the tour with Frank.
Cheers,
Menno

Nadia was fantastic. She was warm friendly and so informative. A day well spent. We would do it again.

Do not book this tour if you are originating from a cruise ship. Info on the web (outside of VITAR) advertised the time to travel from the cruise port to Jerusalem as 30-minutes via high speed train....not true at all. It takes a good hour and half by train one way and then you have to get a taxi from the train station to the meeting point.
Traffic was terrible, our cab driver had never heard of the "Garden of Gethsemane" and got lost.
We were late meeting up with the tour group because of the ground transportation problems and left the group early to make sure we got back to the ship before departure that evening...extremely stressful day. On top of that, Jerusalem that day was packed with people and traffic jams everywhere and horns honking a day...reminded us of New York City
Bottom line...if your on a cruise ship and want to see the "Holy Land", book it through your cruise ship. They arrange ground transportation and the ship won't leave until the "cruise endorsed" excursion returns.
The tour guide himself was very knowledgeable and what we did get to see was excellent.
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Hi Tim,
I think it is unfair to release your anger on us and rate us accordingly.
Your cruise ship company is lying if they told you the train takes 30 minutes, it is a 2 hour ride.
We told you many days before the tour, that if you want to join this tour, you take a taxi and leave early because of traffic.
When your port city switched from Ashdod to Haifa we wrote that again AND added the suggestion that you cancel.
You booked a Jerusalem day tour from TEL AVIV, you were in a city 100 kilometers a way from Tel Aviv in a country with low infrastructure.
We are very service oriented and this hurts us.
We hope you reconsider your rating, since none of the 3 complaints you have, had anything to do with the tour that we offer.
I am glad to read that you enjoyed our part of the day.
If you want to help future travelers, please make a complaint to your cruise company and the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.
Your cruise line docks at Ashdod and Haifa, NOT in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv as they promote their cruises.
Cheers,
Menno

An amazing tour starting at Mount of Olives, through the Wailing wall, Temple mound, the Holy Sepulcher and ending with a walk through Muslim and Jewish quarters. Our guide Nadia, was incredibly knowledgeable and funny, giving us an amazing insight and day in old Jerusalem. She was able to answer every question asked and made sure we understood. Highly recommend this tour. And if you book, hopefully you’ll be lucky enough to have her!
Yvette_F, Sep 2022
Our Jerusalem tour with Nadia was excellent. She is very knowledgeable about the complicated history and explained it in a way we could understand . We covered alot of ground and saw lots of sights. But what made it was Nadia's wonderful personality. She is a gem!!! (Small group size also huge plus!)
Margherita_T, Sep 2022
Our guide Nadia was great! Very enjoyable, approachable and friendly.
I was expecting a smaller group which would have probably made the logistics a bit more easier, but overall great experience!
Nina_H, Sep 2022
Frank was a wonderful guide. He did well to explain each of the sites along the way. I would recommend this tour.
Zach_J, Sep 2022
We had Frank.
First let me say dealing with the pickup arrangements w Menno couldn’t of been easier. He sent me walking directions right from the hotel. I walked literally 5 minutes. Don’t get suckered into paying way more for getting picked up at your hotel.
Our guide was Frank. I’d request him if you can. His job is to essentially explain things that be very boring unless you are a Bible major. He does it in such an entertaining way and so informative.
I was here for work, and hesitant for a 10hr trip alone. I can’t tell you how happy I am to of gone. It was literally INCREDIBLE.
Seriously one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. My parents referred me to Viator. Between their experiences and now mine, I can’t recommend more.
I tipped Frank 100 shekels and the driver 50 shekels.
Don’t be cheap a bad driver and guide can ruin your day.
Craig_H, Jul 2022
The tour was a good pace to allow seeing sites at a very pleasant pace, never rushed. The information provided throughout the tour was excellent without being too detailed or biased in any way.
andrew_w, Jul 2022
If you are thinking of taking a guided tour to the Jerusalem Old City, this is a tremendous experience. We learned more, saw more, and had more fun throughout the day than we ever expected. Highly recommend this tour company.
