Excellent tour and I...

Michelle_D, Dec 2025
Excellent tour and I would recommend it. We felt very safe in the area. Elijah was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He always made sure to allow the group to ask any questions.

Great experience!

Vadyk_K, Dec 2025
A wonderful trip to the holy sites! Extremely knowledgeable and experienced guides! We learned so much information that we didn’t know before! Highly recommended!

Wonderful Experience!!!

James_K, Nov 2025
Every bit of this tour was INCREDIBLE. Elijah was extremely knowledgeable and also had a great sense of humor. It was a Sunday, one of the busiest days at The Church of the Nativity, and he was still able to arrange the opportunity for us to go to the Grotto and touch the very spot of Jesus’ birth. Elijah also took us all around Bethlehem, even buying us some delicious pastries from his favorite bakery. This was an OUTSTANDING tour that I hope many others have the chance to take. Thank you for the AMAZING memories, Elijah!!

Was so good ❤️

Mayia_N, Nov 2025

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your Bethlehem tour with Elias — he truly loves what he does and always brings the stories of the Holy Land to life. We’ll be sure to share your feedback with him. Safe travels and blessings from Bethlehem!

Super tour!

Sharon_D, Oct 2025
Elias was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Because there were so few visitors ( sad situation), he was able to take us to a couple more sites. BEST of all we could go into the GROTTO at the Church of the Nativity and touch the place where Christ was born!!! Shawarma and drink was a nice treat! Lovely olive wood shop and workshop.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear you had such a meaningful experience with Elias — he truly loves sharing the history and faith of Bethlehem with every guest. Visiting the Grotto and touching the birthplace of Christ is such a special moment, and we’re glad you got to experience it without the usual crowds. We’ll also let Elias know you enjoyed the shawarma and olive wood visit — it’s one of our favorite parts too! Hope to see you again soon for another blessed journey in the Holy Land.

Perspectives and knowledges

Yi_C, Jun 2025
Very complicated tour that is impossible to manage on our own. Very knowledgeable tour guide who was able to explain the dynamics among different ethnic and religious groups.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

We’re happy you enjoyed your Bethlehem tour from Jerusalem. Sharing the history and stories of the Holy Land is what we love most.

A very insightful day!

A very informative day and absolutely worth making the trip! The historical religious sights are a real marvel and feel so special.

Pick n drop at the hotel

Ruby_K, Apr 2025
Unorganized! Due to under bad situation I traveling with many thoughts however tour was only one person it’s myself. Tour Bethlehem with his name is George was wonderful.

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour with George in Bethlehem. We’d like to clarify a few important points for you and future travelers. The tour is fully organized, and the details clearly explain that there will be a vehicle switch at both the start and end of the tour between the Israeli and Palestinian sides. This is a standard part of the tour due to regional travel protocols. Pickup and drop-off are both scheduled at the David Citadel Hotel, as clearly stated in the tour information. At the end of the tour, you requested to be dropped off at a location about 25 minutes away from the designated drop-off point. Unfortunately, that is beyond the scope of the service provided. Additionally, it’s important to note that many tour companies cancel tours if the minimum number of participants isn’t met. In your case, you were the only person on the tour, and although we did not make a profit, we chose not to cancel so you wouldn’t miss the experience. Please also be aware that our drivers are not tour guides; their role is strictly transportation. Any personal interaction, request, or arrangement made directly with a driver outside the scope of the tour is at the customer’s own discretion, and we cannot be held responsible for those, especially since many drivers we use are freelance contractors. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again in the future under better circumstances.

Very efficient half day tour

Qiang_W, Apr 2025
The tour guide was very professional and warm hearted. He opened the floor to show us the original mosaic floor in the Church which was prohibited.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Thank you for joining our Bethlehem half-day guided tour. We’re glad you enjoyed our professional, warm-hearted guide and the special opportunity to see the original mosaic floor in the Church of the Nativity — a true Holy Land treasure.

Loved Bethlehem

Rita_M, Apr 2025
This was a great overview of Bethlehem. Our tour guy was knowledgeable and funny. He really worked at giving us a chance to see and experience everything and answered all if our questions.

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're happy you enjoyed your Bethlehem tour — it's always our goal to make Holy Land experiences memorable, fun, and informative. Our guides love sharing the history and heart of this special place, and it's great to hear that came through. Hope to see you again on another West Bank or Holy Land adventure!

Very Knowledgeable tour guide (Eli), efficient way to see Bethlehem

RICHARD_M, Apr 2025
Once across the West Bank/Jerusalem border, you'll exchange cars and initiate the tour. Driving rights for West Bank residents vs. Israelis complicate the pickup/dropoff; it'll seem strange when you swap cars, but the tour team does it regularly and they're safe and efficient. They were raised in the area and they know it very well. Eli (tour guide) and Sami (pickup driver) and George (carving shop rep) did a solid job and hosted very well. Eli studied the tour information in-depth.

Response from Host, Apr 2025

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We understand the car swap at the West Bank/Jerusalem border might feel unusual, but we're glad you appreciated how smoothly and safely the team handled it. Eli, Sami, and George all grew up in this area and truly care about giving visitors an authentic and meaningful Holy Land experience. We're happy you felt well taken care of during your Bethlehem and West Bank tour!

Fascinating to see how bible stories and reality mesh

Caroline_H, Jul 2024
Excellent trip - well organised - transport was decent and the tour was interesting with lots of insight into how the bible stories mesh with real life - even as an atheist it was fascinating and it never occurred to me that the traditional European nativity scene “baby lying in a wooden manger in a wooden stable” makes no sense once you see how the shepherds really lived in the landscape and the reality of what a stable actually was!

Brilliant experience

Jheeva_S, Oct 2023
It was an excellent tour. Highly recommended. Elias, out tour guide was brilliant. Very informative and entertaining. Great tour overall! Thanks

Great trip to Bethlehem

Janet_L, Sep 2023
We throughly enjoyed our tour in Bethlehem! Elias was a fantastic guide and worked really hard to keep our group on time and informed! He was knowledgeable and entertaining. Great tour !

Longer and more expensive than advertised

EllenJost, Sep 2023
Elias, our tour guide, was great. He was funny and informative. That being said, this tour says it’s 3-5 hours; however, if you start in Tel Aviv, it lasts at least 7 (8 if you count returning to Tel Aviv). Most importantly, if you do the half day tour from Tel Aviv, it doesn’t give you a ride back to Tel Aviv and we had to take a $110 taxi back to Tel Aviv from Jerusalem. Please plan ahead and add that expense when booking the half day tour portion.

Response from Host, Sep 2023

I'd like to clarify that the 3-5 hour estimate for the tour usually covers the tour itself. But remember, travel time between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem can vary, so plan ahead, especially if you have other things to do. When it comes to getting back to Tel Aviv for the half-day tour, please keep in mind that we don't provide transportation for that part. It's crucial to read and understand what's included when you book, and to arrange your own transportation if needed. Lastly, I want to stress that your feedback doesn't affect the tour's quality. This tour is popular with folks who want to spend more time in Jerusalem and finish their tour there. It's essential to do your research before booking to make sure it fits your plans. It's worth noting that your rating might be influenced by not fully understanding what you booked. So, when you book something, it's vital to read up on what you're getting to avoid any surprises. If you have more questions or need help, feel free to reach out. We truly feel your rating is quite unfair because it seems you left feedback without fully understanding, reading, or planning ahead. I firmly believe there was no mistake on our part.

Best trip

Perfect tour! 100% recommend!

Kara_S, Jul 2023
My group of 3 had a tour with 3 other people and our guide, Johnny. We have done many places, but this tour was the best to date. Johnny was phenomenal. Receiving a tour of the holy land from a true local is a once in a life time experience. Must do for any Chrisitan! Thank you!!! Also-- we were offered water each time we entered/exited the bus which was a nice surprise coming from the incredible heat.

Perfect length tour of key sites

Clemma_T, Jul 2023
The tour started slightly late due to late arriving guests. It was nice of the company to wait, but we are given more than enough warnings about start times and we got hot waiting on the bus the extra time! Just a word of warning, roads are very bumpy on the route taken. If you are pregnant, have back issues etc, you may want to consider this! The itinerary was really good, and as an added extra, we also got to see Banksy's artwork which was great. The staff at the giftshop we were taken to were great - they gave us all free drinks and homemade baklava and when we left, they gave us free gifts on top! Others have said they had this too. Please bear this in mind and buy something from them, even something small, if you can! One negative I have to note, and that's something that happened with the tour guide. Sections of the tour are very, very busy. There are no organised queues and several tour companies are pushing into any free space available. We got separated from the rest of the group for a good 10 minutes and security tried sending us out of the building because of it! When we eventually caught up with the tour guide, we was told that he'd counted numbers in the last section and that everyone was there. I don't know who he counted as we definitely wasn't! I get tour guides only meet people for a few hours so can't always remember everyone, but we were all wearing stickers so they can check that the people they are counting are wearing one, or perhaps ask the group if they notice if anyone is missing as we had been talking to other group members and they could have said something then! The tour guide was very friendly and informative other than this though and we did eventually catch up, so no harm done!

Tour guide was excellent!...

Michael_M, Jun 2023
Tour guide was excellent! Kept strict awareness of all of us to make sure no one was missing. Knowledgeable and very attentive. Nice guy!

BEST TOUR

Krish_M, Jun 2023
Wonderful tour that covered all the main parts of Bethlehem. Best tour guide we have ever had. Both funny and super knowledgeable, willing to go out of his way to answer our questions. Also great hospitality (provided free falafels, juices, baklava, etc). Didn’t expect tip either. DEFINITELY recommend.

Well done!

Christopher_C, Jun 2023
Well run, excellent & very funny tour guide, waited too long (30 minutes!) for a late-comer at start of tour but otherwise very enjoyable, interesting & spiritual experience!

Great tour of Bethlehem!

Dee_L, Jun 2023
Fabulous tour! Pick up was early and the meeting hotel was easy to get to. Elias M. E. Abu AlZuluf was the guide. He was funny, knew the area and was knowledgeable. Ameer was our driver. He was also engaging and personable. The large van was super nice. There were 8 of us that went together and we enjoyed it very much. It is fast paced, so be prepared to be on the move. 😃 Wear comfy shoes and bring water. I would definitely recommend this tour.
