We pick up from all hotels and Airbnb's in San Juan. If the tour bus cannot stop for pickup at the location you selected, we will provide the nearest pick-up location to you. Buses stop at specific hotels depending on the area. For people staying in the Old San Juan area, the pick-up location is Plaza Colon. Keep in mind pick-up times are approximate. Tour buses start doing the pick-up at 9:00 am; depending on your location, it will be later. The driver will be calling you by your name. Please have your ID ready when boarding the bus. During high season traffic in the mornings is very busy - please be patient and enjoy a coffee while you wait!

Jose is very knowledgable, energetic, and helpful. Even with rain, he makes the experience pleasantly enjoyable. I personally enjoyed the history lesson given to us as we made our way to the forest. He also gave us amazing recommendations for other attraction’s and restaurant’s to visit, of which were also amazing.

This is my first time in PR. My tour guide was Vicente, and he did well communicating the itinerary, pick up, etc. He is knowledgeable and funny. On our way to the water slides, he told us stories about Puerto Rico and the coqui frogs. He made sure we were all safe. When I booked the tour, the description indicated "Explore one of the most unique places on Earth – Puerto Rico, a rainforest paradise filled with fascinating species and awe-inspiring landscapes." I was hoping we would go deeper into the forest and see more of the landscape, flora and fauna. I think this was the one only disappointment to me. I enjoyed the water slides and Vicente took photos of us. I also loved watching the unbothered fish in one of the water pools. At Luquillo, I enjoyed the peaceful waters and opted for shrimp and crab tacos I ate by the beach with a cup of Pina colada. Even in the showers, Luquillo was calm and peaceful. Before we departed, I had fresh coconut juice. For $69, with a hotel pick up, I thought this was a good deal.

We did our tour with Vicente and he was AWESOME! He kept the group laughing throughout the whole time and made sure we were safe the whole hike. He was very coordinated and made sure the group stayed together. Kept clear communication on pickup/drop off. The small beach stop was awesome too. Loved their mojitos and amazing food at the kiosks! I would definitely be booking again when I go back to PR!

Fun time outdoors, I was with my son who is 8 yrs and husband, it was a great time I think the slide was a bit rough for our son, played it safe and he didnt go on but husband loved it, we were in the rainforest just long enough to enjoy the scenery and swim a bit, jump off the rocks and hike. I'd recommend packing light, we brought towels, bug spray and rainponchos however didnt need any. The next stop at the beach and shops was great, we grabbed lunch at a restaraunt that had excellent food, spent about 45 mn for lunch and the rest on the beach. I was disappointed to read a previous negative review about trash on the beach... you know where the trash comes from...? Mostly tourists! So be sure to clean up after yourselves, bring reusable water bottle, made me sad to see the disrespect for the planet in general by lazy slobs leaving beer cans and water bottles all over that close to the ocean. In fact we picked some up and put in the trash. If you travel to a new countrylocation RESPECT the land and be courteous to your guide and the locals. We had Vincent as our guide he was very entertaining and had us laughing quite a few times, we enjoyed the time spent, he made it a point to know everyones name and made sure we stayed safe and on the plan, Thanks Vincent we had a blast. I'd recommend this tour for sure.

The reason I rated the tour 4 stars was because of our tour guide Vincent. He was great -very knowledgable, had a wonderful enthusiasm and sense of humor. Otherwise, we felt that the tour misrepresented itself in that we entered the rain forest, had a short walk and visited a natural water slide that was packed with people. It was beautiful and I felt adventurous and therefore decided to go down. PLease note the walk up the side of the waterfall was dangerous and had extremely slippery rocks. Unfortunately when I went down my body turned around in a circle and I hit my head hard on one of the rocks which is still painful and swollen days afterwards. Vincent did check in with me--- several times and I kept telling him I was ok, but I should have iced it to keep the swelling down. Aside from this incident we assumed we would see more of the rain forest - basically you should post that its just a risky water slide packed with people. We also swam in the little quarry near by which was nice and then walked a short path up and out of the forest. It was very dissapointing, I am a fit and very physically active person but the risk involved is high- just saying. If it wasn't for Vincent we would have
rated it one star. One last item is when we left the rain forest we were dropped at a near by beach that was trash ridden and un-inviting. Loiza beach ? for two hours- not how one would
like to spend their time in San Juan. Viator mis-represented the tour - needs to be corrected !!
Also it was a perk to be picked up but you should note that all the other people needed to be picked up which made the drive over 2 hours to the forest.

Our tour guide, Vincent, was amazing! He was so funny and knowledgeable! Each part of the tour was awesome. The rock water slide, the natural pool, and then lastly two hours at a beautiful beach with amazing restaurants made for a perfect day.

This is a must do while you are in Puerto Rico. Our tour guide was AMAZING! We had the best time! We met a fantastic group of people who made this experience memorable. Tips for this adventure: wear closed toe supportive shoes (gym shows or water shoes with grip sole), stay well hydrated, wear sunscreen, use a waterproof backpack and water proof phone case to capture the memory.

We had a great time on our honeymoon with this excursion! Omar was our guide and to put it simply he was awesome! Very interactive and encouraged everyone to join in and have fun! The rock water slide and rope cliff were great fun. Luquillo beach and the food kiosks were great at the end of the day. Book with Omar and you will be happy 😃

Devin our main host and Ruben that drove us were fantastic! Pick up from our hotel in Condado on time. Devin explained everything in detail and really made sure we knew how to stay safe and still have a great time!
We had the best time and highly recommend adding this trip to your PR adventure! We loved the river waterfall slide and the pool. Luquillo beach was incredible. The food and drink while there was great too! It is a great way to spend a day out there.

I booked the tour, because the agent told me it is a hiking tour in the rainforest. But the hiking was only the walk to a stupid pond with a water fall. Literally the guide just let us hang there for 2 hours. Actually, He is a driver, but not a guide, means he only send us to the places. Since I had to stay there for 2 hours, I decided to make the most out of it, I did the water slide, and I got a huge bruise on my right leg. Such a great souvenir. Also the guide said there are no mosquitos, so I didn’t use anything to prevent the bites. The next day’s morning, the tens of bites showed up on my arms. Now I’ve came back from the trip, and it has been 5 days, they are still super itchy-they bother me to sleep at night. The beach was beautiful. But again, the guide just dropped us there for 2 hours. So, if you are like me, looking for a real rainforest experience. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! It is a joke.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is very important guests read description of the tour before booking to be aware of what is being provided. As for the mosquitos, there will always be mosquitos in the rainforest, unfortunately, we cannot control that. It is a natural habitat.

It was so much fun! It was a little challenging walking through the rain forest but I was able to keep up with my group. Once we got to the waterfall the scenery was breathtaking. It’s a must see!
