I took this tour with my 3 kids (ages 12, 17 and 18). I wasn't sure how they would feel about it, but this ended up being all of our favorite during our whole trip and we went on three different tours. Hector is not only a wonderful tour guide, but a wonderful person. He makes you feel important and wants to make sure you have a great time. He finds out what you like and what you don't and tries to accommodate where he can. I also loved the smaller group setting as so many of the other tours aren't very personal. You will go to the caves, which is so cool, see the beauty of mountains and areas you otherwise wouldn't travel to unless you rent a car and venture out on your own, and then end at a beautiful beach. We loved visiting the coffee/food stand and then visiting Hector's hometown, learning about his life and having a yummy Puerto Rican lunch. Do not hesitate to take this tour!

Hector is so passionate and I love his energy and hospitality! The caving was less physically demanding than I expected. It was underwhelming for me as a young athletic person, but definitely the whole tour accomodate people of all age groups and everyone was taken care of!

Hector is amazing and kind and really just wants to make sure you have a nice time. He thinks of everything, including cold waters, snacks & beach chairs. We had a beautiful day, he has the best attitude and he helped each and every person who wanted to go into the cave. He literally hoisted and lifted 10+ people! I honestly think he should charge more for this experience when you think about all he puts into it including gas and lunch. Be sure to tip him well, he deserves it!

Hectors tour was a real treat. We were able to see parts of Puerto Rico that we probably would have missed without this tour. The hike, cave tour, beach and lunch at a local off the beaten path restaurant were all well planned. I don’t think there is another tour on the island that goes to these places. Hector was a bundle of energy and made sure everything was 5 star.

Hector our tour guide was a wonderful guide! He brings a high energy positive vibe to the tour. Very informative. Very dedicated to teaching things about the country of puerto Rico! Would highly recommend anyone to book this tour. The cave tour was a bit challenging but he was patient and made sure everyone that wanted to participate was safe. He honestly wants everything to go safely and perfect for the guests!

Hector was our guide on this unique tour to out of the way sites of Puerto Rico. This was, hands down, the coolest thing we did while in Puerto Rico. Our tour guide, Hector, was the sweetest, nicest, most informative tour guide and I could not suggest this tour more because of him.
In 7 hours, we saw so many cool things. He took us to the coastal caves and it was honestly just so breathtaking. We also had the option to climb into a little hole of rock to get down into the caves and it was so cool to feel like a cave diver for an hour. Going into the caves is no easy feet and you do need to be physically able, but even if you elected not to, up above was still such a treat to behold. We then walked along the coastal caves and it was just so beautiful.
He also took us to his hometown, fed us an inclusive lunch that was absolutely delicious (I will not forget the pork), showed me a little hidden bakery with fresh pastries that were absolutely delicious, took us to a local coffee stand with local coffee and yummy treats, then ended the tour with a nestled beach that I wouldn't have known was there if he didn't take us there.
All in all, wonderful, fulfilling and informative tour. Worth every penny and when I'm back in Puerto Rico, I'll definitely take a tour with my 'cousin from Puerto Rico.'

Book this tour! Hector was very welcoming starting with a morning text with clear inductions on where to meet him. The entire time felt like a personalized, one on one experience, even though there was 7 of us total. Hector never left anyone out making sure everyone got the full experience. My girlfriend is afraid of heights, and Hector walked her through every step and she felt very safe. Hector also took some amazing pictures! We will definitely be booking other excursions with Hector when we come back to Puerto Rico.

One of the best tours I've had! love the small group atmosphere. Our guide Hector, provided great commentary about Puerto Rico and the areas we visited. If you want to see the pectroglyphs, you have to navigate through a small opening. It was a little challenging, but Hector was very good with giving me detailed instructions on where to position hands, feet, etc. and stayed right there helping me get through it! Beautiful drive through the mountainous area, delicious lunch location, coffee stop and beach were perfect way to see more of Puerto Rico. Definitely recommend it!

Hector - from Brooklyn and PR, was very enthusiastic and friendly. Comfortable mini van, we had 8 in our group. I chose not to climb into cave- but the stop was beautiful and you could look down into the cave area without the climb. Local lunch was simple and very good. Coffee stop- only thing not included- cute spot. Beach stop was very pretty- he even had chairs for us. Pretty rough for swimming - a lot of local people. Nice day to see the Northeast part of the island- gone from about 8:30-4:30.

Full day tour with knowledgeable and passionate guide, well worth the price of the ticket and more. 5 star reviews are totally accurate. One of the best tours I've been on in all my travels.
Getting into the cave was NOT easy but totally doable, trust Hector and he's got your back. He had our back not only at the cave but at every stop. Hector took care of everyone for every single need, from age 13 to 81 on our tour.
Hector totally deserves all the 5 star reviews and bookings he gets. I feel lucky to have gotten a spot. Run, don't walk, to book this tour!!

You can’t see much in the caves, but the ocean views were great. My husband and I were the only ones to get into the crack that allows you more access to the cave and Hector was key to our safety. It was an awesome experience and I’m glad we did it. The Playa Mar Chiquita was gorgeous. The way the water crashed through the two rocks was a sight to behold. Hector was a great guide. From the cave to getting us drinks and lunch, Hector is a class act.
