We really enjoyed this trip. We were picked up from the hotel by our friendly guide and driven to the bay. Be prepared to get into the water up to below knee height to be able to see the bioluminescence, we had plenty of time to splash around looking at it. It was an amazing experience and thoroughly recommend it.

The tour guide was nice and friendly, but the attraction wasn’t ideal.
Tons of mosquitoes in that area, we couldn’t really approach the lights. Also it was cloudy so we couldn’t take any pictures, and couldn’t see the stars.
The highlight of the tour was the taxi through the island.

This was such a cool experience. We were picked up/dropped off straight from our hotel, and driven out to the west side of the island. The bioluminescence was stronger than I expected, and seeing it light up while wading and swimming was too cool. Go near a new moon for the best effect!

I booked the tour last August 20 and we were told that with android phones bioluminescence would not be captured in photos. For this reason they would send us a souvenir photo taken by the local guide. We never received anything, despite several reminders so we have no memory of it.
I would add that we had booked for 3 people, but I had to stay at the hotel because I was not feeling well, so I would have liked to see the photos of the tour. An unprofessional attitude and non-existent customer service.
