Nice fishing trip. Forget about the snorkeling, it seems pretty rare in that season so don't book it if you expect it (should be clearer). Be extra careful with the fishing string, it can cut your fingers and hands when trying to get a fish. The landscape was amazing and the ceviche was delicious. One motor broke on the way back so it took almost 2 hours and a half to come back to holbox.

It was a lovely relaxing kayak through the mangroves and saw loads of birds including flamingos. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the birds, wildlife and the island. An overall excellent experience.

Kayaking through the mangrove and kayaking into the sunset. Company was well organized. Kayaks were comfortable. Danielle was a very good guide.

This was the highlight of our holiday, we got to see flamingoes, different types of heron and even had a young crocodile swimming a few metres from the kayak. The trip was very well organised, with our friendly guides picking us up from the hotel and taken to the waterfront. We paddled along the large stretch of water between the promenade and the sandbank so we felt perfectly safe. There was us and one other couple and we could go at our own pace. Fantastic experience that we would recommend to anyone going to Holbox, although we were paddling for 3 hours so your do need a certain level of fitness.

The mangrove excursion in Kayak was amazing.
We saw many birds, eagles, crocodiles…
David the guide, was exceptional and very professional.
It was a magic moment in our vacation surrounded by wild nature to preserve.

Definitely a special experience to get into the beautiful mangroves of Holbox. There is sooo much wildlife - in the ocean, along the banks and in the air. Our guide was really passionate and we learned so much. We saw crocodiles, horseshoe crabs, string rays and lots and lots of birds. We kayaked approx 7km in total- I’m not gonna lie we were exhausted at the end of it but kayaking back into the sunset and seeing all the wildlife that we did made it worth it!

We had a lovely time. Everything was very well organized and our guide was very kind and knowledgeable. It was a good workout, quite a long time on the kayak. We saw plenty of birds. Unfortunately no flamingos or crocodiles on our trip, but I would say the experience was still worth it.
