Neil was a wonderful tour guide! Fantastic tour of the Highlands! We visited Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, Loch Ness, and local distilleries. Each stop was beautiful and full of history, and our guide made the day fun and informative. Highly recommend!

Niall was fabulous. He tailored the trip to our interests helping us spot Highland Coos. Our sons 17 and 21 thoroughly enjoyed his history lesson and are still discussing what they learned. It was a great experience and the best way to see the Highlands.

Tour was everything as advertised & more. Great if you want to hit multiple places in a few hours. Pick up & drop you off flexible. Great if you don’t plan to get a rental. Gin & whiskey stops were very reputable. Kind staff at every stop. Niall was very informative and told us so much of Scotlands history. He went into a lot of history that led up to the Culloden Battle. Was also helpful for first time gin & whiskey drinkers. He accommodated every one of our requests and was wonderful to spend the day with!

We had a great tour of Inverness and the surrounding area. This tour backs a lot into a half day, but we felt like the pace was good. There are opportunities to tweak the tour to fit your group's interest.

Neil was a GREAT tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Scottland and especially about the highland area we where touring. He did not rush us though any part of the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and flet we got a true Scottish perspective on the area. He picked us up at our front door and dropped us off at the same place, which was a very nice perk of this tour. I highly recommend this tour experience if you want to really get out into the country side of Scottland.

Niall was an outstanding guide taking us through various areas of the highlands. His family have been of the highlands for over 300 years and who better to spend time with to learn the rich history. The battlefield sight at Culledon is moving and should not be missed and Niall is the person to see it with. Loved the scotch and gin distilleries and enjoyed the lovely town of Bealy. You can also customize your tour. This experience was outstanding!

Every place we visited was well worth the tour. Our private tour guide Neil was exceptional! He gave us great recommendations at the whiskey distillery for what to order, at the gift shops for the best souvenirs. He was so knowledgeable about every place we visited and knew Scottish history. As a native Highlander you could tell he loved his country. He was very accommodating for special requests we had on the tour for special things we wanted to see. We also loved his bagpipe solo!

This was a fantastic tour, and customizable to our group. We were able to add on a castle when one of the distillery’s was closed. Niall was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Wonderful tour of Inverness-area highlights

My husband, son, and I were lucky enough to do a private tour with Niall last week. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to see exactly the sights we wanted. We especially appreciated his knowledge of Culloden as he walked with us around the battlefield. He even provided an excellent recommendation for food once we got back to town and treated us to a song on the bagpipes before our tour was over. We’ll definitely be looking up Niall again if we get back to Inverness.
