Stuart was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable. He made us see the history of the Culloden Battfield in a whole new way. He told it almost like a story. Incredible what took place there. Clava Cairns were amazing as well. We seen a lot of people walking around probably not even understanding the history of what took place or with a larger guided group where every one might not be able to hear everything. He had an answer for every question and had a great sense of humor and was kind and thoughtful. My family really enjoyed the view of the Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. My only regret is that we didn’t start the tour until 10. Next time I would start earlier and see and hear more. Thank you for the wonderful day Stuart!

We were a group of 4 and we felt the SUV was cramped in the back for an all day tour.
The tour guide did not keep to a schedule and we missed a few point of interests.

We just finished a wonderful day with William. We took the “Cruise Excursion” and our guide as promptly awaiting our arrival…imagine the “extra” experience of having a real Highlander in a kilt tour us around today.
I would recommend this company specifically and William as well. If you’re an “Outlander” fan, I would strongly suggest booking with William. We had the best experience of our trip so far. We felt like VIP’s-we didn’t see another guide dressed in such a way, and also, he was the only guide who demonstrated what the Battle of Culloden looked like!Our guide couldn’t do enough for us. We will certainly give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our guide was so friendly and you could tell he really loves what he does. He took us to all the stops on our itinerary and was so knowledgeable at each location. He was dressed in the traditional kilt which was so cool and even had props to demonstrate his stories. So fun! Tour was heavy on history and information and at times felt slightly restricting (especially when some of the group was more interested in photo taking). All in all, good experience!

Our family was looking for something guided from Invergordon port (as there isn't much to do there without a car). We booked last minute and decided on this private tour for our family of 6 as it made more economical sense to do a private tour when comparing the individual costs with other group tours. Stuart was our guide and he was a lovely, knowledgeable man with lots to share. We really enjoyed the day touring the area with Stuart!

We had a great day visiting the Scotland countryside. Our driver, Keith, made sure we were the first at Urquhart castle on Loch Ness. That area was so beautiful! Just as we were finishing our tour of the castle, all the cruise boat tours showed up so it worked out great. We got to feed some Highland cows, went to the battle of Calludron, ate at a real meat cafe outside Inverness. We had a great time exploring the beautiful Scottish highlands with our guide Keith.

Lewis was absolutely wonderful! Very informative about all the areas we visited. Loved having a private tour with 4 of us in a minivan vs the large tour buses. He was one step in front of the large tours the whole time so our stops felt very private and personal. Touring with Lewis felt like driving around with a family friend. Had us back at the cruise port in plenty of time. Never had any worries! Highly recommend this tour company and Lewis as well. Thank you!

This was a very informative tour. Our guide Stuart kept us at a pace that we wanted so we were able to adjust our times at locations we wanted to spend more time at. As we drove he had a microphone so everyone could hear the historical significance of the area we were driving to. We were able to cover a lot of because of the driving to location (eg. Culloden battlefield- then walk…then on to Lochness and walk. One of the most beautiful & interesting tours I have been on. We were also back in time for the cruise ship.

We spent the entire day with Mike as he showed us the sights of this beautiful and interesting part of the world. Not only was Mike extremely knowledgeable regarding the local customs and history, he was also very personable and flexible about what we chose to see and do. Our tour guide Louis was awesome, arrived on time, and we took off for our 8 hr tour. The places we went were beautiful, Louis was super knowledgeable about the area and provided a lot of information about the sites we visited.
Another nice thing is he was very flexible with our schedule, he was able to get us a reservation to eat at a great local restaurant where we ate an awesome meal.

This tour was worth every cent we paid. Me, my wife, and my daughter and her husband took this full day tour instead of the one offered by the Cruise Line we were on. At first it looked expensive until we realized it was the same price as that offered by the Cruise Line and the Cruise Line was a mega excursion with a large bus and no customization.
My daughter was thrilled that the guide had the classic Scottish accent and wore a kilt for the entire tour.
Louis answered all of our questions and customized the tour to include lunch at a great little restaurant/bar (extra costs).
If you want a great tour, this is the one for you in Scotland.
