Such a great experience! Jim was a great guide combining history, humor and a bit of mischief with anecdotal stories from the region. We couldn't compel Nessie to show herself but otherwise had fun despite the rain and maybe a bit more fun because of it. The great part about this tour is customizing it to your taste and must-see list. Jim was totally flexible, even when we changed the plan. We were able to fit a lot into a long day and didn't miss a thing. Highly recommend Jim, in his authentic attire, and Historic and Scenic Tours.

Mike was very patient and helpful coordinating our tour for 15 people. We had two vans and the tour moved along smoothly and we had multiple stops with our guides providing excellent background information. The tour

You can't go wrong booking this experience! We had a truly remarkable day with Stuart, our driver and guide. From seeing Highland cows to standing on the shores of Loch Ness and exploring the Clava Cairns, every stop was unforgettable. Stuart even made a special detour so my husband could find a soccer jersey, and before we boarded, he treated us to a toast and a wee dram. It was a fabulous day filled with memories we'll cherish for years to come!

This itinerary has several great stops that compliment a scenic drive. There was something for everyone on this tour. Castles, History, Outlander, Architecture, and natures glory all on display. Our Guide, Michael was first class all the way. His passion to share his knowledge of Scotland made our trip. We can't wait to get back.

Susan was a wonderful guide! Experienced local Scot! Reversed the tour so we avoided all the bus crowds. Not rushed and took us to a lovely local pub for local cuisine! The tour was the highlight of our cruise to Norway Scotland and Iceland!

What an experience! Mike was so kind and answered my questions leading up to our arrival. Our guide, Stuart, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He drove us to the sites listed but allowed us to set the pace so we spent more time at those we wanted to see and experience, discussing the history and relevance of each. Our ship had been a bit late letting us off but Stuart helped us along through the day so we could get to the distillery and still have a relaxing and enjoyable tasting on that rainy afternoon. If we are ever able to make it to Inverness again, I will absolutely contact Mike hoping to book another exquisite day with them!

Some of the sites places listed were great, enjoyed them. But we did alot of driving in towns we had no interest in. Our driver was very nice but was soft spoken, mic rarely worked and very hard to understand plus spoke very fast. Finally the info privided while driving around like every sporting facility, church, school was not necessary. I said after booking and when we met up most important thing to me was to visit the highland coos. We did, but couldnt touch them, yet there were petting farms we past. He didnt seem to listen what we wanted. I would of been happy skipping other stops. He never said where we were going, we would just arrive. Again he was very nice but needs to slow down speaking when dealing with tourists from other countries. And possibly skip a stop or 2 if tourist wants more time with petting and taking pics with coos. He was very knowledgable and known wherever we went which was great. We did enjoy our day, would of loved it if i got up close with other coos and skipped driving through town and even the battlefield.

First of all… we can not imagine anyone better than Mike… Such an exceptional guide and a fine gentleman. He went out of his way to ensure that everyone was enjoying themselves, checking in with each of us throughout the entire day… (which would typically be a challenge for most guides with there having been eight of us in our family ranging in ages 11-64!!!) We saw everything we wanted to on our itinerary, and were returned to our cruise ship in plenty of time before last boarding. We ALL had a marvelous day, and made some treasured memories together that’ll last a lifetime! So grateful for this “adventure”!!! We all want to go back to Scotland… in no small part because of Mike’s exemplary hospitality and wealth of knowledge.

Michael, our guide met our group of 6 across the street from the cruise terminal holding the sign with our name. We gave him a list of things we wanted to see and do and our day began. He was very kind and knowledgable. We asked to see a Highland cow and five mintues later we were taking pictures with the cow. We asked to go to the market in Inverness and we ate lunch there. We walked the battlefield and he gave us the history. It was a great way to see Inverness and the surrounding area. Thank you, Michael for a great tour.

Our tour of the Scottish Highlands was absolutely unforgettable! From the breathtaking views at Urquhart Castle and mysterious Loch Ness to the beauty and history of Cawdor Castle, every stop was incredible. We also loved visiting Invergordon, exploring the moving history of Battle of Culloden at the battlefield, and experiencing the ancient mystery of Clava Cairns.
One of the highlights of the trip was meeting Katie Morag and Jamie MacKenzie Fraser at Robertsons Farm — such a fun and memorable experience that truly made the tour special!
Roy was an exceptional guide. His knowledge, passion, and storytelling brought each location to life, and he shared a wealth of fascinating history throughout the entire day. Stuart was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable. He made us see the history of the Culloden Battfield in a whole new way. He told it almost like a story. Incredible what took place there. Clava Cairns were amazing as well. We seen a lot of people walking around probably not even understanding the history of what took place or with a larger guided group where every one might not be able to hear everything. He had an answer for every question and had a great sense of humor and was kind and thoughtful. My family really enjoyed the view of the Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. My only regret is that we didn’t start the tour until 10. Next time I would start earlier and see and hear more. Thank you for the wonderful day Stuart!

We were a group of 4 and we felt the SUV was cramped in the back for an all day tour.
The tour guide did not keep to a schedule and we missed a few point of interests.

We just finished a wonderful day with William. We took the “Cruise Excursion” and our guide as promptly awaiting our arrival…imagine the “extra” experience of having a real Highlander in a kilt tour us around today.
I would recommend this company specifically and William as well. If you’re an “Outlander” fan, I would strongly suggest booking with William. We had the best experience of our trip so far. We felt like VIP’s-we didn’t see another guide dressed in such a way, and also, he was the only guide who demonstrated what the Battle of Culloden looked like!Our guide couldn’t do enough for us.
