Driving and drivers in Egypt are not for the faint hearted.
The only law is no law, but it's an experience not to be missed, and the best way to see Hurghada.

Very wonderful tour in the company of Magdy Soliman, like being in the company of a family friend.
We had possibility to visit El Dahr, fish Market and Hurgada Marina.
To finish with a coffe in nice coffe bar in Sheraton Street

The guide was so nice, explained everything, made sure we saw everything, made sure we were confortable ans had a lot of photo opportunities.
We were hungry so he found us a restaurant for dinner.
Really appreciated the tour.

This was the worst tour we took in two weeks traveling all over Egypt. Our tour guide, Hamgad, was extremely distracted for the entire time he was with us and was unengaged in the tour. He was on his phone incessantly -- texting other potential customers and what looked like women romantic interests -- including while he was DRIVING us.
The stops on the tour were not impressive -- a roadside outlook, a garden variety fish market, a mosque (that we just looked at from outside), a tourist trap Marina and a very tacky souvenir shop with low quality items (where Hamgad would clearly make a commission if we bought anything). Making matters worse, Hamgad told us very little about Hurghada or the points we stopped at -- basically the information was limited to the year they were built and what they were called.
Would absolutely not recommend this tour or guide. It was a waste of money and -- more importantly -- three hours.

I had a wonderful few hours seeing Hurghada - the markets, mosque, marina. Fouad was the best guide, excellent English, total gentleman and good fun. He tailored the trip to my wishes and made it such an enjoyable experience.

Eine solche fahrt war wunderbar. Der fahrer hat uns sehr gut betreut, hat sich Zeit genommen uns seine Stadt zu zeigen. Er konnte jede unserer fragen klären. Er wirkte sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. In keinem Moment haben wir uns unwohl gefühlt. Ein grosses dankeschön.

Hier, nous avons fait l’activité « visite guidée privée de la ville d’hurghada avec transport » réservée auprès de votre agence et, bien que le guide ait été très aimable, l’expérience n’a malheureusement pas correspondu à ce que nous avions prévu.
Tout d'abord, nous avions spécifiquement choisi un guide francophone, mais sans nous en informer, vous nous avez assigné un guide anglophone. Ne parlant pas anglais, nous n'avons pas pu profiter pleinement de la visite ni échanger avec lui. Ensuite, la visite de la mosquée n'a pas pu se faire car nous n'avions pas de voile, malgré mes deux demandes préalables pour savoir si une tenue spécifique était requise. Le contact de votre agence m'a simplement indiqué qu’une « tenue confortable » suffisait.
De plus, la visite de l’église, qui faisait partie de notre programme, n'a pas eu lieu, et nous n’avons même pas pu nous en approcher. La session de shopping s'est déroulée dans un magasin ordinaire, dépourvu de tout caractère traditionnel et sans aucun intérêt culturel pour nous. Pour finir, l’activité comprenait également la visite d’un chantier naval et d’un marché de fruits et légumes, ce que nous n'avons pas du tout fait. En réalité, nous n’avons réalisé qu’un quart du programme initial.

Une excursion très sympa grâce à notre guide : Mak qui prend son temps, est calme, ne nous presse pas. Il apporte des informations intéressantes sur Hurghada, nous a emmenés à un point de vue magnifique qui n’était pas prévu au programme. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié Mak et notre chauffeur, ils ont pris soin de nos enfants, nous ont proposé plusieurs fois des boisssons et toutes les étapes de ce qui était prévu, ont été largement réalisées.
Bien préciser que vous souhaitez un guide français au moment de la réservation car la veille, l’agence voulait nous envoyer un guide anglais (ce qui aurait été compliqué pour les enfants).
Merci encore Mak pour cette belle découverte d’Hurghada.
