I had an incredible time exploring the local street food scene with my tour guide Ruby! Her knowledge of the best spots and hidden gems made the tour truly special. Every stop was delicious and full of unique flavors I would have never discovered on our own. Ruby was friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about sharing the culture behind each dish. Genuine food and guide

Had a great time with Cham, on the back of his scooter visiting ~7 places. All dishes were new to me apart from Banh Mi (which was excellent), and all were great. Little spots all filled with locals so you know they’re genuine. Cham lives locally and frequents some of the places we went. As a solo traveler it was great to chat with Cham and learn more about his life and Hie in general. Highly recommend.

excellent food tour in Hué!

we had an excellent time with Tzcham on our first night in Hué . He took us around to various local spots. The food was delicious. The explanations and conversation were great. Tzcham was very informative about a variety of topics and gave us some excellent tips for our time in Hué

Good introduction to Hue's food

This was a good food tour and a nice way to get a feel for Hue. Ben we would easily give 5 stars to, he was so helpful and friendly and his English was fantastic! He even pushed the tour back by half an hour for us, as we were the only ones on the tour, to give us time to check in to our hotel as we had only just arrived in Hue. He also took us for a walk along the river to see a show that was going on that night which was really sweet. The food was good and varied but each of the locations was pretty far apart and some of them felt slightly in the middle of nowhere. It was a good tour though, we enjoyed trying the food, it just wasn't our favourite food tour. Ben though was brilliant and we really enjoyed his company.

I had an awesome time on the Hue Authentic Street Food Tour! Ben, my guide, was great—he reached out on WhatsApp beforehand to confirm everything and make sure we were all set. Super helpful and friendly from the start. The tour itself was a relaxed ~3-mile walk, across 3 hours, and we tried so many different types of food. Ben was really flexible with the menu, too—he listened to what I wanted to try (since I was the only person on my particular tour) and made sure to include a mix of things that fit my tastes. Every stop was something new, and Ben explained the cultural background behind each dish, which made it even more special. Because Ben is a local and knows the vendors, they know how much food is consumed in total on the tour and don’t get offended if you can’t finish (which is a common social thing to be aware of apparently!) If you’re in Hue and want a laid-back, delicious way to experience the local food scene, definitely check out this tour! You get a lot of food, so I thought it was good for the value!

A great night out

There was only the two of us on this tour so we had our wonderful guide Ben all to ourselves. We ate at places we possibly would not have been game to go into but all 6 vendors served us fabulous, fresh local fare. We learnt about how the food came about and regional favourites. Not too much walking but as we went past places of interest Ben pointed it out and gave us a history lesson on Hue.

We did this tour at the end of our trip, wish we did it at the start as we ate at so many amazing places that I would of gone back to eat at. Best Banh mi ever. Great guide it was so a fun and amazing night.

An easygoing experience with tasty food!

Tz (pronounced T-zay) and his friend were truly the highlight of our experience! Tz was incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes at the places we went to. He has a very positive energy that feels puts you at ease and was very kind. We booked the motorbike tour which was our first experience on bikes in Vietnam, and we both felt very safe with him and his friend as the drivers. He took us to different areas of Hue that we wouldn't have seen otherwise and ordered for us. Afterwards, he was kind enough to drop us off wherever we needed while we waited for our flight. I highly recommend booking with him for a safe ride around the city and authentic experience trying new places.

An exceptional tour, and one of the best food tours we have had in decades of travel! The food was regional, interesting and copious — from stalls, carts and storefronts we were unlikely to have ventured in ourselves. The guide was personable and proud of his region’s cuisine, and gave great explanations of everything we were eating. I’d give more than five stars if I could!

Vinh was really friendly, knowledgeable and fluent in English. Took us to places that we wouldn't otherwise walk in, so we got to taste the real local cuisine. We also discussed about the habits and culture, which was great. Walking around was easy with no time pressure
