My 2 friends and I had a wonderful and wonderfully filing evening traipsing around Hue with our knowledgeable guide Ha. She guided us to 7 spots over the course of our nearly 3 hour, 5,000 step walking tour.
All of the food has been covered elsewhere, but please arrive hungry. We enjoyed a local Huda beer and covered a lot of ground in the city heat. Ha provided welcome commentary on what we were seeing (and eating) and the wait lines for food were very short, even when some of the establishments seemed at capacity. In sum, this was an educational, delicious, memorable evening and one you should book immediately.
Favorite dish: the Hue gelatinous rice cakes (Bánh Nậm) and the tiny clam rice (Cơm Hến).
Suggestions: bring along an appetite and a bottle of water or two as all the eating is thirsty work. Oh and do try the bonus infamous duck egg (Trứng Lộn). This defeated us, but maybe you'll conquer it.

Ms Ha was a wonderful tour guide. She has a clear enthusiasm for her home city & its foods. All of the food was delicious! The tour was exactly what we were looking for - off the beaten path & where the locals go. Highly recommend

I was sent clear instructions as to where to meet my guide, Ha. She was waiting for me and explained to format of the tour and checked for allergies. It turned out that I was the only person booked so we set off. I opted for a walking tour. I was introduced to a variety places and food that I probably would not have tried otherwise. Ha explained clearly what everything was and the ingredients used. It offers great value and was an excellent way to spend a few hours.
Top tip: skip lunch as the servings are very generous!

We had such a wonderful tour with Ms. Ha. We had 5 different stops and were able to sample so many different foods that are unique to Hue. This was one of the most authentic food tours I’ve ever had. I rate this tour 15/10! Come hungry because it’s a lot of food!

The trip was thoroughly enjoyable - Ha, our guide, was a delight. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to several local ‘street food’ vendors that we would have never tried and the food was great. She shared with us a wealth of information about the food, the vendors, the city and her own life and family. We were really pleased to have taken this tour and spend some time with Ha.

This was a brilliant experience! My guide Ha was an absolute delight and introduced me to some wonderful food - in places I would never have gone by myself and to places that I only saw locals eating in. The food tastings were genuine discoveries - things I have never tried before nor knew existed. My guide Ha not only had great food knowledge but her conversations around Vietnamese life and culture were absolutely fascinating and enlightening. And travelling around the city on a cyclo was a total buzz - with such a warm and friendly driver. I can only highly recommend this experience.

An incredible food tour across many different food vendors in Hue! It was a great way to see the city on motorcycle since I was the only person on the tour. Ha was very kind and introduced each dish to me, answering my many many questions. Would definitely recommend!

Our food tour with Ruby was great!! She brought us to great local places with amazing food and was able to give us a variety of food along with some history of Hue! My boyfriend also had a shellfish allergy and she was very helpful and accommodating- she bought him separate food when needed, got vegan versions and let him know when he shouldn’t eat something. I would definitely recommend!!

Our tour guide, Fi, was very enthusiastic about sharing Hue’s food with us. We had plenty of food - come with an empty stomach as the food was plentiful. The flavorful food did not dissapoint! We understand better why Hue’s food is so famous. We also enjoyed the evening tour as it gave us the opportunity to see Hue’s night life scene.

I had a great experience at this tour! Total of six different food stops, each more amazing than the last. My guide Hoa was an extremely friendly individual who does not just know about food, but also gave anecdotes about the history of Hue. He also gave a really good recommendation for a tailor in Hoi An! Highly recommend this tour to anyone(:

I didnt think I'd be able to find a tour that would be open during Tet but luckily Hoa accepted my booking.
The tour was great and the food at the places we visited was delicious.
As some of the restaurants were closed for Tet, however, Hoa invited me to his home where his family welcomed me and we enjoyed some Vietnamese delicacies.
Would highly recommend Hoa and this tour.
