Thom was an amazing guide who showed up as scheduled, provided excellent communication via What's App, and knew many fascinating facts about the food I sampled as well as about Vietnam in general. The tour was fantastic with delicious food and a fun cyclo ride. Highly recommend!

What a fun way to see city and experience the different food options

Though the day was a little damp, our guide Thom was well prepared, and we were well looked after by Thom and the cyclo guys. Having the cyclo to explore the city gave us a different perspective of how the city looks. Stopping every so often to try out different foods this tour was really enjoyable and would recommend.

If you are not good at hunting for best place to eat, this is a good way to get around it. Plus you get a chance to get a snapshot of where things are, the culture and where local hangouts. My guide was great and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Thom was a simply wonderful host and this was definitely the best food that we ate in Vietnam. Do not miss out on Hue or this experience! First of all, Thom is truly such a kind person - he’s a dad to three and the entire tour warmed my heart with all of his stories about life in Vietnam and his family. Additionally, his English is EXCELLENT and he was very educated about ingredients, recipes, and restaurants we went to. He is very close with all the staff so we got special treatment wherever we went. He felt like a friend by the end of the tour. Next best thing: you get to your the town in cyclos, which are very comfortable, give you a good view of the city, and the drivers were very safe. P.s. the driving is much less crazy here than in the big cities of Vietnam so you really won’t have to worry. Finally, the food was truly excellent. We tried easily 20+ dishes and sampled many varieties of different kinds of classic food. Every restaurant we went to didn’t have another tourist in sight - made for great food. We also toured the local market and learned all about Vietnamese vegetables, spices, herbs, meats, even trying quite a few items at the market. All in, this was one of our favorite trips we took in all of Southeast Asia and would definitely recommend.

Incredible tour! This was our favorite part of the trip. Food in Hue is the best in Vietnam, and it was so incredible touring the city on the cyclo’s while our incredible guide took us to some of the very best spots around the city. Highly recommend!!!

Thom was so great. The food was delicious and plentiful but what really made his tour stand out from others we have done in Vietnam is how focused he was on cleanliness and hygiene. Every time we got food, Thom would use anti bacterial wipes to clean the eating utensils. Very impressive

Loved that he added in a trip to the market to show what goes into our food and the natural flavourings that vietnam people love! Hassle free, cyclo was a great way to travel around Hue!
