Tai is an outstanding tour guide who brings absolutely passion and knowledge into the experience. We have cycled through the farm, veggies garden and had lunch at his family house. The homemade Vietnamese cuisine was amazing, healthy and clean. It was overall a truely great experience!

Great day out in the local farms.

It was hot on the bike but the scenery was amazing, rice paddies, market gardens and coconut forest. Our guide Tai was very knowledgeable about how the local farms operate and rode to our pace. Loved our day out

Cycling tour through Hoi an with authentic lunch

Fantastic tour with Mr. Tai - he picked us up at the hotel and brought us through hoi an and the rice fields - we saw and touched water buffaloes, stopped for information and pictures of lotus flowers, green vegetables gardens. We had a blast at the coconut boat trip - and then on the way back he had arranged the best lunch at a local house for just us, this was the best and most authentic food. We can only recommend this tour with Mr. Tai! He was the best guide

Super experience

We really enjoyed our afternoon with Tai. One day before, he agreed to meet us at a restaurant instead of our hotel, which was convenient for us. The bikes worked well. He stopped and explained things along the way. Meeting the farmer and planting some spinach was fun. The basket boat ride was pleasant because we were a small group without the blaring music. The dinner in a private home was plentiful and some of the best food we’ve had in Vietnam. Concerned for our safety to bike back in the dark, we tried to call a Grab. Due to the rising fuel costs, no drivers would come out to the countryside. Tai called a friend and negotiated a reasonable ride back to town. Tai took some great photos and sent them by WhatsApp soon after.

Bicycle tour around Hoi An

We enjoyed a great bike ride through rice fields, coconut groves, vegetable gardens and residential neighbourhoods. The pace was gentle and slow. The traffic really wasn’t an issue until the last couple of km’s when we had to deal with rush hour traffic which wasn’t ideal. We probably could have taken a different route back to the hotel. The bicycles rolled well and the seats were comfortable. Our guide Ty seemed like a nice dude but he was clearly sick with a cold or something because he was coughing all day and cramping up. I don’t think we are alone in being hyper alert about this kind of stuff. It goes without saying that it would have really sucked if we had caught what ever he had while we are in the middle of a trip half way around the world.

We thoroughly enjoyed our countryside bike tour. Getting to see the rice fields, the farm visit and the great home cooked meal were the highlights. Our guide Ding did a good job explaining the history and the meaning behind the sites. We would happily recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An.

Worth it

It was a wonderful bike ride through the Hoi An countryside. Especially nice after the crowds in the old town. Our guide Ty was great, we had a self-guided tour because there were no others in the morning. Ty talked a lot about Vietnamese culture and the things we visited. The cycling was very doable. Much on flat roads and separate passages. The coconut boat tour was funny, but unfortunately not being able to catch a crab. Above water, it clattered off the line. Lastly, delicious lunch
