Fantastic excursion in Crete with guide Nico! We greatly enjoyed this varied and well organized jeep tour to the beautiful Lasithi Plateau. Our guide Nico made the day extra special with his enthusiasm, extensive knowledge and humor. Along the way he told many interesting facts about the history, culture and nature of Crete. The visits were all worthwhile. The pottery was very interesting and the workshop gave us the chance to get started ourselves. The climb to the impressive Zeus Cave was rewarded with stunning views and a unique experience at a historic site. Also the lunch was excellent. We enjoyed delicious authentic Greek dishes including various mezedes, flavorful chicken, traditional braised pork with potatoes from the Lasithi Plateau and local olives. Everything was fresh and prepared with care. To conclude, the visit to the olive factory was very educational. It was nice to discover more about the production of olive oil and the local traditions. In short: a perfect combination of nature, culture, gastronomy and adventure. Thanks to guide Nico, this excursion became an unforgettable day. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to discover the real Crete! 🇬🇷🚙✨
