Kamal was knowledgeable and shared some interesting nuggets along the way, brought us on a day trip to Hallstatt, with stops along the way at St Mozart and St Gilgen. Responsive and helpful, had a great time.

Before i decided to reserve the private trip, i was thinking about whether it was worthy of the price. After i’ve finished the service i’m very very impressed. The driver is very kind and good take care, he explain a lot of things about hallstatt when we arrive such as the location for take a picture , restaurant and activity cost in the village. If you are thinking about the cost that this service more expensive than the public transport i would let you know that a private car can saving you much more time and you can have stop another two villages

This is a great VIP experience. We enjoyed our day and don't know what we would have done without this tour. Hallstatt, in the height of vacation season can be a bit of a tourist trap, but is should not be missed. Our guide was great in telling us where to go and what to do to make the most of our experience. He was great to make stops along the way to give us the full experience of the alpine lakes and great little villages such as St. Gilgen.

This is a great way to get out of the city and experience the beautiful lake region. Our driver was very punctual, courteous, and professional. He shared a few tips about each place we visited, but not much. Super clean car and safe driver. We enjoyed our day an definitely recommend this tour.

I had never heard of this magical place before and am so glad my daughter had. It’s a not-to-miss experience, and I’m so happy we did it as a private tour instead of the large bus. It gave us so much more flexibility.

Kamal Farahat made this trip an exceptional and memorable trip. He was punctual, friendly, knowledgable and very kind and considerate. His van was very comfortable and Kamal balanced sharing his extensive knowledge with also giving space for quiet viewing as we drove. He communicated very well and made the trip easy and enjoyable. Hallstatt is amazing, of course. Bring euros since most places there don't accept cards (there are also several ATMs in the small Hallstatt village). Thank you Kamal for making this a wonderful experience for my family!

Having a guide/driver is more expensive than other ways of going to Hallstatt, but if you get Kamal it is definitely worth it.

Kamal was very kind and informative. We never felt rushed and he provided a good amount of time per stop. He also was good at telling us facts, suggestions and information. He was very sweet to take our pictures for us. Kamal made our day trip the best part of our 2 weeks in Germany and Austria

Booking a private driver with Kamal was one of the best decisions we made during our trip and worth every penny! From the moment we set off, he made the journey enjoyable by sharing interesting facts and local history along the route. When he found out I was a huge Red Bull fan, he made a quick stop so we could take photos of the Red Bull headquarters. That unexpected gesture meant a lot and really showed how much he cares about his guests' experience.
When we arrived in Hallstatt, Kamal personally walked us to the main street, pointed out the must-see attractions, and recommended great places to eat. His local knowledge helped us make the most of our time there.
After leaving Hallstatt, we visited the additional scenic stops along the route. With about 20 minutes left before our tour ended, Kamal surprised us by taking us to the Red Bull Museum. As a fan, that was the perfect ending to an already incredible day!
Kamal is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing an unforgettable experience. We had a great day with Kamal. He picked us up at our hotel. He even had a little bag for us with a water and a snack. On our drive to Hallstatt, Kamal pointed out various points of interest, pulled over at the Red Bull headquarters. When we arrived in Hallstatt, Kamal parked in a great spot and gave us a quick overview of the town... we took the boat tour..... 50 minutes but a great view. We had about 3 hrs. in Hallstatt which was prefect. Then we headed back towards Salzburg, stopping in Wolfgang for a bit.. had time to walk around .... it was a beautiful little village on the water. Then we stopped in St. Giligen ... another beautiful small village. The day was a 10 ! Hallstatt was on my list of places to see, and Kamal made it very easy for us. Not only was the day great but Kamal is one of the nicest people you will meet. Highly recommend if you want to go to Hallstatt for the day!

Absolutely wonderful full day trip to see Hallstadt and other towns along the way from Salzburg. Treat yourself to this amazing experience with ample time to discover and enjoy Hallstadt with its quaint shops, restaurants, and historic sites. Several stops on the way and on the return really showcase the Salzkammergut region with amazing lakes and small towns. The driver was incredibly attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about all the stops, even showing us the best locations for photos and the best sites to see. Our driver was so friendly and accommodating - if you’re looking for the best possible way to travel to Hallstadt and surrounding towns in comfort look no further! We will remember this trip for years to come!

We had a lovely time on our Hallstatt day trip! Kamal is a great driver, he's not an official tour guide but he did give us tid bits of info that he knew about each location. There was a bit of a language barrier, so some questions we would ask he didn't quite understand what we were saying but he was very kind and answered what he could. We very much enjoyed the stops along the way at St. Wolfgang. At Hallstatt he showed us a couple things in the beginning, took some pictures for us, then we roamed around for about 4 hours on our own. They have cute shops and we enjoyed having lunch on the dock of one of the restaurants. On the way back we stopped at St. Gilgens, we weren't really a fan of, it felt repetitive and not as much to do or see there, so we wished we would've skipped it and spent more time at another spot (which I'm sure Kamal would've accommodated if we had asked). Overall I'd recommend this experience!

This is a tour that provides transportation to planned stops without much commentary regarding history, etc. Kamel was very nice but his knowledge of the area seemed limited.

Tour guide had limited English so communication was not the best. we had some drizzle but the tour was very good.

It was a very pleasant drive to the three city stops - the longest being Hallstat. Our driver and guide Kamahl, was excellent, a safe driver and very accommodating of our questions and concerns. Hallstat takes a little more than 3 1/2 hours to fully explore but there was plenty of time to see most of it and we did the boat tour which was an amazing view and we felt worth the 50 minutes. Bathrooms are available for free near the parking area or there are plenty in the town that cost 1 euro per entry: Hallstat was exceptionally cute and the mountains with the lake was truly majestic. Worth the day trip from Salzburg!

My husband and I were so glad we took the Hallstatt day trip while visiting Salzburg. Our trip would not have been complete without it. We were able to see all the beautiful sites without the pressure of driving ourselves or worrying about the lack of parking. Our driver, Kamal, was fantastic! He provided great insight and knew all the best places to stop. He took great pictures of us and stopped at two additional little towns that were beautiful along the Wolfgangsee where we took a gondola up to the top of the mountain for more amazing views! So worth the money for top quality service. You will not regret choosing this adventure with Kamal as your guide!

We had a fantastic experience! The ride itself was great, but what really made the trip special was our driver, Kamal. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by taking us on a couple of extra side trips to some lovely local villages we wouldn't have seen otherwise. I did this tour with my family of 4, including two adult children (18 and 19 years old) - it was a great way of visiting Hallstatt and two other lakeside villages (we visited St Wolfgang and St Gilgen which were equally as interesting as Hallstatt for different reasons) from Salzburg.
Our tour guide, Kamal, was extremely friendly, reliable and flexible and made our day really relaxing and enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this.
