Seeing the bald eagles up close was amazing. We also managed to see a moose and a weasel. Sam was very knowledgeable and a great guide. We felt safe the whole time. Highly recommended this experience.

Great trip. Zack was an amazing guide and very informative. The horseflies were a little annoying but maybe some bug spray would have helped.

Great trip and rafting guide. Andy was super knowledgeable and flexible on trip timing. Saw tons of eagles, geese and ducks. Beautiful scenery on the river. Windy with some rain, but still an enjoyable trip for a group of 8 (4 adults/4 kids).

This was our favorite excursion of all the Alaska cruise! We were alone in the raft with Jake our guide who did a fabulous job of guiding us down the river. We must have seen over 2 dozen eagles. The river was peaceful and beautiful. Great excursion!!!

We saw an eagle take flight from the shore. We also saw an otter and a moose. Our guide, Andy, was very knowledgeable about many subjects pertaining to Alaska and shared his knowledge and stories with us.

Enjoyable trip down the river. We were able to see quite a few adult and juvenile bald eagles. Our guide Sam was very knowledgeable about the area and had some great stories from his life experiences.

The young man and lady picked us up on the dock with a van towing the boat and right on time. They aparently take turns as the oarsman in the zodiak type boat. The ride down the river was a beautiful experience and we saw several bald eagles, derspite being early for the huge gathering of our national bird in the sanctuary. We recomend warm and preferably water proof coat and pants as there is splashing from the river. Everyone was provided with rubber boots before entering the boat.
This small tour operator is very aware of the time one needs to be back at the ship and there was no concern we would miss the boat
We recomend this as an excellent alternative to the tour organized by Holland America which was sold out long before the cruise

We loved this trip. Lizi and Andy promptly picked us up at the pier and transported us to the river. They gave us boots so we wouldn't mess up our shoes and we all got into the raft. It was wonderful floating down the rivers. Very peaceful. Andy is a great guide as he is well versed on the wildlife and plants in the area. Beautiful scenery too. We saw quite a few eagles.
We ended the trip by going ashore and meeting back up with Lizi who had set up chairs and a table filled with wonderful snacks and drinks.

Great Experience. Picked up right on time at the end of the pier by LIzzie -- Awesome guide -- Drove about 30 minutes to point to put in raft -- issued rubber boots -- concise safety explanation -- Off we went on our 2 hour river trip -- water was rushing in some places, but very shallow -- We only saw one Eagle -- no other wildlife until we left our raft and realized we scared a moose and her baby who jumped into the river to escape our arrival. Thought we would see much more wildlife -- only disappointment - Otherwise fun and entertaining day -- Ended with a delightful snack and drink... Perfect touch!!!

Saw over 25 eagles.
At end of trip,they had great snacks. Would definetly recommend this trip.

I can't rate this highly enough. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Pick up was prompt and transportation to the launch site was comfortable. Our guide was interesting and informative. All of the necessary gear was provided as well as a dry bag for my camera equipment. We saw in excess of 30 eagles and learned a great deal about their life cycle and habitat. Our trip finished with a welcoming table set with cheese, humus, salmon and drinks. We couldn't have asked for a better tour.
