Our flight to Guayaquil was scheduled to arrive at 10:30 pm. Although our hotel offered an airport shuttle, I didn’t want to wait for it to arrive, so I decided to book a private pick-up. Our flight arrived 30 minutes early, and we cleared customs quickly. I was a little concerned that our driver wouldn’t be there, but as soon as we walked out of customs, I scanned the area and saw someone holding a sign with our name. The driver knew exactly where we were going and we arrived at our hotel in no time. Terrific experience. We communicated directly with the company in advance of our trip and everything went smoothly.

Perfect from start to finish

I walked out of customs and right near the exit to the door of the airport was my driver holding a paper with my name printed in big letters. We walked straight out to his car and we’re out of the airport in no time. The car was clean and cool. I was dropped off right in front of my hotel. No issues and exactly what was needed!! Great for a solo traveler.

Even though my flight arrived about 1 hour late, the driver was waiting for me with a sign that had my name on it. Although he didn't speak English and my Spanish is poor, he greeted me with a smile, directed me to a clean modern van, and he had notes of exactly where he needed to take me to. The only confusion that I had is that I didn't realize that the driver would be waiting outside. After you clear customs at Guayaquil airport, there is an indoor area where some people were standing and waiting for passengers. I assume this might be only for waiting family members. I was initially looking for the driver in this area until I realized that there were quite a few people standing outside the airport exit, many holding signs with names on them. As soon as I walked outside I immediately saw the sign with my name on it and the driver guided me to his nearby vehicle.

Excellent transfer service

When arriving at an unfamiliar airport late in the evening, there is always a bit of worry regarding transportation to a hotel. Having a pre-arranged driver is always our plan in those circumstances, especially when we’re not familiar with the local language. This service lived up perfectly to our expectations. Our driver was awaiting us with a sign as we eventually cleared all the events needed in order to leave the airport, and transported us carefully to our hotel. As well, any questions we had in advance were promptly answered. I would highly recommend this service in Ecuador. In fact, we have them scheduled for three more transfers while we’re here.
