Stephanie was a very good tour guide. We were the only 2 people in her group and she was very personable and give us a lot of good information about Grenada. We enjoyed the Fort, Spice garden, and Waterfall. The Chocolate factory was a little disappointing. We expected more of a factory than a small store with an explanation of how cocoa is made into chocolate.

Our guide Mikey was fantastic! He was attentive and customized the tour to our interests. It ended at the appropriate time so no concerns about getting back to the ship on time. The best parts were Laura’s Garden and Fort Fredrick. Highly, highly recommend!

Our driver, Norland was a fantastic guide and knowledgeable about most of the happenings on the Island of Grenada. We started out at Fort Frederick and our guide there: Erica was an expert in the History of the Fort and the 5 year revolution that occurred beginning in 1979. We, then, hit Laura Herb and Spice Garden and Hazel Ann led us through a culinary canopy of herbs and spices native to and available all over the world which was almost information overload and extremely interesting. Then, it was off to Tri-Island Chocolate where Chiffon explained how their chocolate was made - but in addition, she was an awesome spirited young lady who shared information about how she found this intriguing vocation of making chocolate as a profession. And, lastly, we ventured to Annandale Waterfall and Forest Park to cool off after a 92 degree day. Overall, it was a 5 hour excursion throughout the countryside surrounding the capital city of Saint George and very memorable! A wonderful educational day! We recommend this excursion to everyone who visits Grenada!

Great experience!

LaDawna_J, Apr 2026
I really loved going to the spice garden and the experience smelling, tasting and hearing about the Medicinal uses. Our guide, Denzel, was friendly and a great driver. Along the route he provided history and information about the island. The falls was very beautiful and we were able to take some nice shots.

A fabulous excursion made even more enjoyable by Troy, our driver and guide. As promised the bus only held 12-15 so was very comfortable.

Fantastic Day Exploring Grenada

My husband and I had the best day with Stephanie exploring the island of Grenada. Stephanie was friendly and engaging. We happened to be there on the day before Independence Day and were privileged to see all of the celebrations gearing up. Stephanie was so knowledgeable about the country’s history and about today’s current events that are influencing the island. Every stop was a perfect amount of time with enjoyable conversation while traversing between locations. The communication leading up to the tour was very clear and timely. Highly recommend Explorer Grenada and an A++++++ for Stephanie!!!

Best of Grenada?

Denzil was an affable and helpful guide. The Herb & spice garden visit was informative and enjoyable and well worth a visit. Fort Frederick is a small ruin, which has good views but rather annoyingly has "guides" who give you a few minutes of information whilst taking you up a single flight of steps and then expect a tip. Denzil gave far more information later. The Chocolate factory gave a short overview of the process of creating the chocolate, including a few samples before inviting you to buy. The Annadale falls are not especially scenic, full of locals, some of whom encourage you to "sponsor" them to jump from the cliffs, and just a bit too touristy for my liking. Can't fault Denzil or the company for the tour though.

Great tour

This was one of the best tours we have been on. Stephanie was such a pleasure and was very informative I enjoyed the spice tour and could have stayed all day learning about the different spices and plants. The waterfall was great watching the locals jump off the rocks into the pool. Our guide went above and beyond finding my bracelet when I lost it in the water after slipping on a rock.

Amazing experience

Stephanie was amazing. She gave us a wonderful tour. The stops were fun and we learnt so much about grenada's history.

Densil is great!

Alyson_M, Jun 2025
This excursion lasts about 4 hours. I did it with my 86 year old mother and she was able to keep up. Densil was a gentlemen and made sure she got in and out the van safely. We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour which led to a personalized experience. The herb garden tour was amazing. I forget the name of the tour leader but she was excellent. She allowed us to sample some of the herbs and gave us an overview of their medicinal properties. I could have stayed there all day. It’s so lush and peaceful. The fort and waterfall were also great. Shout out to the Spice Man Akhir at the Fort. He has a variety of reasonably priced trinkets for sale.
