When visiting the Gold Coast, enjoy a close encounter with some of Australia's amazing animals at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Your admission ticket allows for a leisurely visit to a centrally located oasis.
Stroll through the exhibits in the 67-acre (27 hectare) refuge that is home to more than 1,400 animals. Currumbin features Australian natives such as the koala, echidna, wombat, Tasmanian devil, kangaroo, emu and dingo, and the animals live in bushland and rainforest settings that resemble their natural habitat. Interactive displays and keeper presentations provide a closer look at the critters, including lorikeet feeds that take place twice per day, free-flight bird shows, and reptile shows. You can also see an Aboriginal dance performance.

- Wheelchair Access: Thanks to an extensive system of boardwalks and ramps throughout Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, there is no problem getting around on wheelchairs. However, the assistance of a carer will be needed on some of the steep walks. Wheelchairs are free, however ID is required to present.

3 流程&服务：工作人员为了售卖官方的照片，不让同行的人站一个好点的机位拍照，这也是第一次遇到。
**1. Experience:**
This is by far the smallest wildlife park I’ve visited in Australia, and unfortunately, there was nothing new or interesting about it. There were simply too few animals. Even the kangaroos, birds, and other animals here were fewer than what I’ve seen at some farms I’ve visited.
There are also an excessive number of paid add-ons, which I found quite ridiculous. Even the price for a photo with a koala was more expensive than at other wildlife parks and zoos.
The entire park can be walked through in about an hour, and honestly, it was extremely boring. I also felt that the park was not well maintained. The facilities looked quite run-down, there was construction going on everywhere, and many of the exhibits were closed.
It definitely has a very “wild” feel — perhaps a little too wild.
**2. Value for Money:**
Considering that maintaining a wildlife park is expensive, I think the ticket price itself is reasonable. However, the experience was simply **not worth it**, and I would definitely not recommend it.
For an adult who has already visited many wildlife parks and seen plenty of Australian wildlife, I honestly don’t think there is much value here. I think it’s more suitable for families with young children, or simply as a casual weekend walk.
**3. Process & Service:**
One thing that really bothered me was that the staff wouldn’t allow people traveling together to stand in a good spot to take photos, apparently because they wanted us to purchase the official photos instead. This was honestly the first time I’ve ever encountered something like this.
This is the best place to get up and close with Australia's native animals. Definitely prepurchase your entry ticket so you can skip the line at the park. Plus it's cheaper buying on Viator.
Nice to see the Roos and koalas, but the Roos don’t seem happy there. Very sad and lethargic, and lots of them in a small space. Tons of people feeding them, and most of them didn’t respond to the food. Also a line of people waiting to hold some of koalas that seemed to be paraded like toys for pics/$, which is also tough to watch.
A fantastic place to experience Australian wildlife up close. Great for families, couples, and international visitors wanting to see native Australian animals.

Fun day. Staff are very friendly and informative. The bird show was really good. Loved the train around the park to get from a to b. Would recommend.
Just the best out door day trip to experience with kids. Hand feeding kangaroos, finding hiding animals, walking through beautiful woodlands and hoping on and off the wee train. The bird show was enchanting and we stayed on to watch the trainers working birds through new routines. Easy to get there by bus from Broadbeach. We loved this experience
We had a great day! Good for adults and families IMO. It was great to see all the animals native to AU. Several free shows included: birds flight, cultural show, feeding of the lorikeets. Several places to eat. We spent almost the entire day there. Very educational. Highly recommend it if you want an opportunity to see wildlife. Animals are well taken care of. Koala nursery was wonderful! And fun to mingle with the kangaroos.
A stress free and relaxing day in beautiful and natural surroundings.
The bird show was the highlight of the day and not to be missed.
Wonderful! We visited with our 1 year old baby and had a great time! Make sure you bring a baby carrier or something similar as there are some areas you cant bring a pram into (like the Lemur aviary), we were glad we brought our carrier because that area was so fun! There were more animals than we thought, such as Red Panda's, Tree Kangaroos, Capybara and Lemurs!
It was a nice cloudy day. Lovely to walk around and see the Pandas and the beautiful birds. Also loved the Kangartoos.
Lorikeet feeding was so fun. Staff were great to help attract the birds to us. The kangaroos were fun to feed and the day we were there lots of koalas that were actively moving around. Without going activities we were there about 4 hours. Fun experience
This is a must do! We loved the interactive experience and the animals are well kept! So many Australian animals.
Choose a good day that isn't so stupidly hot (36). Was a great place to visit. Great staff, great animals. Didn't see it all because I took the train at the beginning. So missed a lot got a little lost.seeing the lizards just walking around was very cool The walk back was beautiful. Definitely worth the visit and the drive from Brisbane was awesome. Just stick to the right lane lol

Had an amazing 3 hours, certainly one activity the whole family enjoyed. Helpful staff and love that it’s mostly all on the flat.
This was a wonderful experience. Even though it was cold and raining, we really enjoyed walking around. We were able to get close to a lot of animals and experience them without them being behind the bars of a cage. The koala experience was pricey but well worth it - we were in the enclosure with 5 koalas and got to be right up next to them. The keeper was fun and friendly and very knowledgeable. We even got to hold a koala for a picture! The only recommendation I have is for them to consider changing the position guests are asked to use while holding the koala - it was very uncomfortable and felt insecure, especially for my children (teens). We held a koala at a different sanctuary and felt much more comfortable. But overall, that was such a minor thing in a generally wonderful experience.
The wildlife sanctuary was fantastic. Really enjoyed the interaction with the kangaroos, the bird show, and holding the koala. All the workers and volunteers were great too (shout out to Helen!).

Very cool experience and I don't even like animals a whole bunch. Being up close to kangaroos and other wildlife like Koalas was amazing to see. Animals were calm and staff did a great job of watching everyone closely.
Everything was great - except for the fact, that we still had to wait in [the long] line despite us having tickets through Viator already. So be aware of this when you get there.
We bought tickets online so we skipped the line and they made us wait in the line

It was a great day out. Very accessible by bus from Broadbeach. Lots of animals to see with lots of signs containing interesting information. Navigation was a tad confusing at the start, but once I worked things out, I got around the whole park very easily. Definitely recommend if you're interested in Australian wildlife.
This ended up being a completely unexpected highlight of our stay at the Gold Coast - and we didn't even plan on visiting initially. Animals have a great amount of space, staff are friendly and the prices are fair. Highly recommend!

Vivid experience with Australian fauna, missed the kangaroos but enjoyed the koalas. Very accesible from Gold Coast, expedited entrance. Train ride for a broad view of the sanctuary.
I bought this entry ticket here because it was cheaper than buying from the actual attraction. Be careful about the time, the gift shops and food places shut down around 3pm so keep that in mind when exploring.
This is a must see! Wonderful interaction with the animals. Beautiful sanctuary! Kangaroo food vending machine takes 2.00 Australian coins.
The animals themselves, the very professional shows, nice coffee and food. Just thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and loved the train ride.
