Amazing, and you couldn't ask for a better day for the experience, blue skies and perfect temperatures. Staff was awesome, and funny keeping everyone relaxed. I was originally scheduled for a Tuesday jump, but the winds weren't supposed to be ideal so I was rescheduled for the upcoming Thursday, and everything worked. It was my first jump and I'd definitely do it again with this group. They are very professional and reassuring. The only negative for me is that the photos are not included in the package, you have to buy those separately and they are not cheap. Other than that if you want an awesome first, second, third, etc, time experience with sky diving on the Gold Coast, this is the place to do it.

What an unforgettable experience! My skydive with Gold Coast Skydive was an incredible experience! Although we had to reschedule from Thursday, August 28 for safety reasons, it was definitely worth the wait. The conditions on Friday, August 29 were perfect, and I was paired with an amazing tandem instructor named James. James was incredibly professional and made sure the experience was worth every minute of my hour-and-a-half drive. Even though I’ve skydived three times before, this was the first time I ever flipped while freefalling, which made the jump even more memorable. The entire team, from the ground staff to the other divers in my group, was professional and welcoming. I highly recommend Gold Coast Skydive to anyone looking to take the leap and enjoy the breathtaking views from above!

Very exciting experience. I was nervous and anxious but the staff kept me in good spirits. The jump was very comfortable and easy. It's all about overcoming your fears. If you are planning to do a skydive, Gold Coast is the place to do it, because of the beautiful scenery you can see before and during the dive. Landing on white sandy beaches of Gold Coast is an experience.

This was by far the most incredible experience I’ve had in my life! Such a rush! You experience the absolutely insane feeling of falling at 220km/h, to the absolutely peaceful feeling of floating above the gorgeous scenery below. The views were absolutely stunning! We even saw whales breaching which was so magical! The Gold Coast Tandem skydive team were absolutely awesome! I felt completely safe and I knew exactly what was going on at all times. Shoutout to Rolly (who I was paired with), who had such a calming presence and was absolutely the sweetest dude! Thank you for making my dreams of flying come true. I would 100% go through Gold Coast Tandem Skydive again!

Must do in your Australia adventure

The moment push off the plane was scared me to death! Then I tumbled twice upside down, eyes closed in the first 5 seconds. Thanks to my coach Luke, he quickly calmed me down, tapped my shoulder to open my arms to fly……. Very welcoming staff, I jumped with Luke who was an absolute champ. Luke has 15years under his belt, so very calm and comfortable environment. Short bus ride to airport, then about 10-15mins till you're up in the sky and ready to dive. The thought of jumping out of a plane terrified me until I took the leap, which I will never regret. Great experience, must do!

Not high enough too expensive!

The jump is always great but Gold Coast skydives are ripping people off. They advertise up to 12000 feet yes but to jump at 10200 feet is very poor! I am an experienced skydiver & knew what to look for. & the altimeter on the instructors wrist before I jumped was 10200. They are just trying to save on fuel & after paying 425 I expected more. Not happy!

Hi Bill, As we operate next to an international airport we are restricted by ATC on each flight as to what height we can fly to. The minimum height we jump from is 10,000ft and the maximum is 12,000ft. We do have this information on our website. We hope you still enjoyed the experience with us. Keep an eye the the alty for your next location as you will find this is the same everywhere you go apart from a few remote drop zones.

This must be one of the best things I have ever done and definitely want to do another. I was scared thinking about jumping but it was on my to-do list and I am so glad did it. I thought I would brick it when sitting on the edge of the plane but the jump out and free fall was the best bit. If you ever think you wanted to do believe me just DO IT !!! Absolutely amazing and the Sky Dive people were so professional that you felt you were in really safe hands. Thank you Mike
