Alba experiences with Owner James as our driver and guide was beyond Excellant. James has a deep passion and knowledge for Scotland and it’s history. Story telling while presenting us the facts is a gift only few can claim. James does it with ease. He was careful with my husband and I and walked at our speed with numerous comfort breaks along the way. I wish we had booked more tours with him.

The second of two tours with James and Alba Experiences during our time in Scotland.
For those who've had their curiosity piqued by the movie BRAVEHEART, this tour dives deep into the actual events surrounding the lives of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce and the their fight for Scottish independence. James again impressed with his vast knowledge of history and insight into the Battles of Stirling Bridge and Bannockburn. An excellent tour for those who not only want to visit sites of historical significance but also leave with a greater understanding of those who were involved. Another experience that i cannot recommend enough. For those interested in ANY tour in Scotland, you must give James a call.

We had five people on this excursion with James. It was so much more than we expected! He is very personable & has a wealth of knowledge about Scottish history! He took us to places we specifically wanted to see & a hidden gem (Cambuskenneth Abbey)! We had a wonderful time & a memorable experience! We would highly recommend James! He has a passion for sharing his beautiful country & it’s history!
